Based on some of my family's experience (specifically my younger sis), STAY ON TOP OF THEM...FOLLOW UP ROUTINELY. They contacted her mid summer and told her they would see her at orientation...she applied around Oct/Nov and never received an acceptance letter. At that point, she'd already sent in her confirmation letter to another school; she's in her second year now. Make sure you've listed CAU on your choice of schools on the FAFSA so your financial aid package will be easier for them to generate. Hope this helps, good luck!
