Free Alternative no idea. But a cheaper alternative could be ‘Wave Tunes’ by Waves. Some of our friends use this for vocal tuning. It works similarly and has different commands and workflow all together.
You can fine tune and change pitch of the vocals according to what you want. The auto tune sound will still be there and u can choose to make it sound more smoother. You can even duplicate the vocals and shift them 3rd of 5th of the root note and be able to harmonise this way.

For example: Agar aap C major scale se C# major pe shift karna chahte ho toh the audio needs to be transposed one semitone up. Agar if its C Minor than one semitone higher will be C# minor.
