The F-Zero Climax version is on a different key, and would make the whole mashup sound off-key, but Axel changed the Climax version's key so it's the same as the rest. Climax didn't play by the rules with its version of Big Blue. The notes are placed very differently, and the iconic three-note intro is removed in lieu of a pumping electric piano riff. The first measure after the intro of the song is played twice instead of once, and the second was removed to fit into this. (I'm sure you know all this, I'm just typing it because I like to geek LMFAO).
@@axelltheswampert7553 i have a lot to do with F-Zero Remixes ( by doing Remixes for F-Zero DSX ) and i know how difficult it can be to make it sound good, and i can imagine that mashups are a LOT harder. also Big Blue is my 3rd. favorit theme from F-Zero.
Difficulty in mashups depends a lot of wich song we are talking about. It's true that mashups with a lot of songs are harder, but, even if you want to mix only 3 songs but you need to change pitches and speed, do several cuts to sync and more, it also can be kind of hard to do and it's not a big mashup :p
