agree with much of what you said, but when you said "households should not be run by women."... I gasped and clutched my pearls. Girl, you wrong! I think households and especially households with children, should be run by a responsible human. Leave the gender out of it, a house needs love and the dedication and sacrifice that accompany love to make it work.

Family Law Court is an absolute farce here in Australia as I’m guessing it is in America too. The way men are kicked in the teeth is disgraceful. My hubby was almost cleaned out by his mentally unstable ex (no kids between them thank goodness) and I’ve seen male friends of ours treated so damn unfairly, it’s no wonder men choose not to marry these days. I’d love to see Judge Boyd behind the bench in a Family Law Court as she would treat everyone fairly and firmly.

This is why households should not be led by women? WTF?
Half the marriages in America end in divorce, but women are supposed to be able to predict the future?
My dad served our country in combat and came back a monster with PTSD. He would not get treatment. He was gentle, kind, and supportive the first 10 years of their marriage.
But my mom was supposed to see that he would be called up to serve in Afghanistan and would return a violent man with a hair-trigger temper? Don't try to feed that bullsh*t to me. I lived through it.
She raised 4 girls on her own, we all graduated from college, we all have good jobs. She received NO money from the state or federal government.
I wish every household was led by someone with the strength, the morals, and the kindness of my mother. The country would be a better place.
I can't imagine if we were raised by the man in our family after the divorce. I sincerely believe he would have killed us all when he killed himself.
    Please stop spreading this ignorance.

I went into a meeting one day and someone told me she'd relapsed, not to judge her but to welcome her back. A few weeks later I went in and spotted a filthy, woman with unkept hair. It was her. Later she spoke. She lost everything in 3 days. This is because your addiction doesn't lie dormant, it's still growing inside. It's simply resting, waiting, urging you.
