Nice comparison. I've been a member of Distrokid for a number of years now. It's always been great and reliable, but I'm really not a fan of all the extra costs.
I'm looking at potentially moving over to Routenote. I'm gonna get a quote for their All Access package, hoping that would give me better customer service and a more personalised distribution package for my needs. We'll see how it goes and what else I learn about it! Cheers for sharing your thoughts anyway, this came at the perfect time for me while I am considering my options

hey, how much is the all access package? I dont think the price is displayed anywhere on their website!

@spotifymarketing It's a personalised quote based on how many releases you plan to do for the year, I think. I'm in touch with them about it currently, but haven't received a quote just yet

@TomPlattsMusic OK cool, yeah I'd love to know, especially if the service improves

Routenote is great and awful at the same time. Their page often is broken, they never reply to anything, the approvement is kind of completely random and like you mentioned, they need a long time to even look at your track. Normaly this a not a reliable partner for anything. BUT: The 85% rule is a good thing.

I am only starting to get used to them, if you know it will take a long time and you know how to set up the songs in "their" way, then its not so bad... keep you expectations low :)
