Este diseño es muy lindo, pero ¿no ay una forma de hacerlo mas fácil? 😩, ya que a la hora de hacer que embone cuesta mucho trabajo por los dobleces hechos 😢

Kirigami. I am ashamed.
Its not kirigami, he only cutted the paper to get a Octagonal shaped sheet of paper... he didn't cut it to do the origami... only to make the paper needed
hyuwaxe123 it depends on your definition of origami... I was considering the starting point to be a square sheet of paper... besides, multiple sheets were used and the stem (i recall) contained a wire.
Origami is the art of paper folding not an object. The object is merely a representation of the art. Obviously pieces that transform a sheet of paper into a 3D object demonstrate this art to a much higher level than cutting, gluing ect. Naomiki Sato designed the rose after seeing the Kawasaki rose. One of the limitations to that rose is that by using a square piece of paper you finish with an even number of petals where an actual rose is divided into 5. Talking about the original paper size - I've seen origami made from rectangular pieces of paper. While square is the most common base it's not what defines origami.
You don't need to start from a square for your work to be origami.
Besides, the result is nothing to be ashamed of, be it "true" origami or not.
thank you
