      Just because her sons got murdered doesn't make her a bad mother. As children get older, they began to explore the world on their own. They pick up on things and etc. For you to write an ignorant comment like this just shows how you were raised. That's if you want to go there.

    She’s literally shaking n holding back tears the whole interview. God bless her. I love rap music but dissing the departed has gone way to far. It’s literally in every song they put out. Us as fans should NOT accept songs/rappers who do it. We should hold them accountable and say hey, “we will not listen to you nor support you in anyway if you continue to diss the departed” it seems like a stretch but I know we as people have power to change anything

    • @spaceghost4628
      @spaceghost4628 2 ปีที่แล้ว +68

      1,000,000% agree. Fans have the power. I used to listen to it but reciting the lyrics makes me sick.. words have power. I was a fan of Duck and Durk hoping they would make a truce then Duck died and Durk started mocking him and it just f*caked me up.. like bro he was trying so hard to get him and his family out of the hood and y’all kill him like a dog while he’s buying a gift for his son.. no remorse.. mocked him smh fans gotta stop supporting that shit and the tables will turn.

    • @iloveberleezy

      nobody’s gonna say that shit tho be realistic. rap is a form of self expression and it may not be right to diss the dead but this is how most gang members and all that make it out the hood, everyone has a story to tell and we shouldn’t downplay their stories just because it may be too graphic

    I can only imagine the pain she went through and continues to go through because just like most parents, she had no idea what her son was doing in the streets. Parents can be really naïve because it's hard to believe that he wasn't active or affiliated based on the people he was hanging with. Even in her own words, she's alluding to the fact that he was involved in some capacity because he was kicked out of school, she was getting him a mentor, dudes talking shit to him and trying to fight him. There's no way he wasn't active or affiliated. Especially since he has been getting dissed for a decade.

There’s a 9 yr old kid that I interviewed for murdering a grown man over a damn card game. He’s is already gone, his eyes are dark, no remorse, had no record, he is a product of his environment, which is terrifying unfortunately. This is so sad. You can tell that she is still deeply hurt about what happened, as she should be. I think everybody need to apologize to this woman. I know that wouldn't help her much because her son is still gone and they need to stop saying his name. The disrespect has to stop. This is his mama. She can't properly grieve due to his name being brought up in disrespectful ways. This interview was sad and anyone who continues to glorify the disrespect is apart of the problem Period. Stay strong momma! So sad. How genuine she is. Her son died in 2011 and he still can’t Rest In Peace. How crazy this is because all these kids grew up together,went to the same schools. And killing each other and laughing about it. The pain is real . None of them have lived over 30. Dead or in jail. The streets that bad. I would move my family or send my child to another state with family. She wants to believe her son was and good boy! My mother didn’t kno everything I was into. And these kids are living and fast life ,haveing to grow up fast because of the environment

For myself. But our sons did things. They wouldn't listen to us. The streets took them from us both two times. I pray she finds peace. Me. I'm taking day 4 day cause I know I did my best. This lady is doing a whole lot of projecting and is full of regret. She mentioned a male friend basically warning her about her child's reakless mouth, and she didn't want to hear it. She said her son was a good fighter and if he couldn't beat you he would poke you with the knife he carried. He was often kicked out of school and was signed up for wrestling to control his anger, he gained his name from being known to have an attitude...with all of that going on, i know for a fact her and her grandmother couldn't control him. That's why she said it starts at home. It does and although they did the best they could, her home/community was dysfunctional. May she find peace.

    Listening to this woman makes my heart break! I literally have tears rolling down my face. It’s just so, so, sad and this woman is hurting sooooo much and always will. No one should make fun of someone who was killed, especially kids! But no one at all should diss the dead, the family that is left behind has to deal with that, especially when it is in a song!! So horrible what the mom’s , dad’s, and siblings have to deal with!! People think it’s funny making fun of the people that have gotten killed (.that they hated.). But what do they do when their best friend, or loved one gets killed??? Then they hurt and go through it also!!! So all this killing needs to stop! They kill each other over barely nothing!! Instead of using your hands and fighting it out, they are taking each other’s lives, and that’s forever!!!! It is awful to just look at this year so far, and see how many rappers, and people that are in gangs , and also the innocent victims, that have gotten killed since January!!!! I pray this ends and they find another way to settle differences, instead of killing, and then everyone lives!!!
    God please bless this woman and all the other moms and family that have lost their lives to gun violence!

    Omg to see her shaking & fighting back tears hurts to the core fr. I’ve been amongst the ignorant people to rap along with the lyrics of “smoking on tooka” & I’m so sorry for that fr I didn’t know any better & I should’ve because my mother has lost a child as well but not to gun violence. My brother was just shot 6x 2 days ago in Detroit but luckily he’s still here on earth. I will NEVER speak of Tooka’s name in a negative way EVER AGAIN ! This mother is in pain, YOU DON’T DISS THE DEAD ! That’s not cool, that boy was a baby regardless of where he was from or who he hung with. I feel for her sooo badly & she’s so strong. I’ll be praying for her peace & healing ❤️🙏🏽✨ The fact that he was gunned down less than 5 minutes of talking to his mother & telling her he’s heading home is so heart-aching. I do believe she needed that, something in him told him to call his mom. I really wish they hadn’t taken his life.
    & for those of you saying he must’ve been a gang member because he was such a big target that’s not true, his big brother was Lil Marc but Marc is his dad’s son not his mothers. Marc had already wrecked havoc in the city before Tooka moved there so THAT’S why he was such a target. They wanted get back for things Lil Marc had did.

    💔 no mother, none of the mothers deserved this pain from either side. As a complete outsider my heart breaks for all of these mothers because no matter what they carried each of those young men and young women that have died in this war inside them for however months then gave birth to them, loved them & cared for them so their grief is on a whole other level.

But what hurts the most is being indenial on our sons gang bang. My son did. Her son did. They was raised right. We did all we can do. The streets too him and my son twice from us. Sometimes we don't want to see what our boys are really doing.

    God bless this mother, I can't even begin to imagine her pain but I've got to say this, this woman is either in extreme denial or she really believe that she knew her son's every move. Your son was in these streets ma'am!!! However, he was just a kid that shouldn't have died in this manner. This shit is sad and sickening. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

    I hate people to try to judge other people saying what kinda mother she is or what she should've been! We don't come with instructions on how to raise a child, we do the best we can! You could have been the best mother and your child could still stray away! All you can do is try to raise and teach them the best you can and hope that they carry what you taught them through life! Nobody should ever have to bury their child and this woman baby is gone forever! I can't imagine the pain this Mama feels knowing she will never get to hug or tell her baby she love him!😭😭😭
