The entry to that video is amazing as good as I’ve seen on brewing videos on TH-cam. On par with my there’s something hairy in my grain and when I dressed up as a fairy changing a tap. On par with big bananas birthday bashes brilliant genius, although was reaching for the rectal diazepam when I saw froth coming out of your mouth ,naturally paramedic instinct 🤪 Great to see the malt miller got on board respect to them great vid cheers guys you know I love you 2 ❤️👍🍻

Always happy to see one of your videos. And yes, a fantastic intro! Two questions: what do you use to fill bottles from the keg and which is the best lager you have so far made? Is it the Peroni?
If you want lager then yes the Peroni recipe by Dave Line is something special. So crisp and smooth. We actually made the first batch with an ale yeast that mimics a lager and it was just as good! Also the malt killers Kolsch is mega.
Stella has been pushed to the side by more trendy beers the last 5 or so years rightly or wrongly, the likes of Estrella, Peroni, Heineken, Moretti etc which I don’t have an issue with but breweries have jumped on to the fad and are trying to sell stuff like Madri which is glorified Carling and making it out to be premium which is a load of crap. I was at a Haven last week and at the bar you couldn’t move for people drinking Madri yet it was 50p a pint more expensive than Stella. Stella isn’t something I drink much of but I really enjoyed it and it was much superior to the Madri which my mate bought me a pint of when I went to the toilet and he got a round.
Hi Craig, couldn’t agree more. I don’t understand this hype around Madri, it’s the Spanish Carlsberg and they have so many better beers out there like Cruz Campo. Personally you can’t go wrong with a classic pilsner.
@@OysterBoysBrewingCo Madri has never seen Spain!!! it’s just Molson Coors attempt to hit the market currently dominated by Estrella and Moretti and they’ve basically hashed the 2 labels together too (Aldi/Lidl would be proud!!). Rumour is it’s an old Carling recipe but either way it’s not a good lager yet they’ve marketed it so strongly they’ve got the causal drinker fooled into thinking it’s a premium lager which it’s far from, fair play to their marketing team.
