It's just reminds you of how much you should appreciate your family. They love each so much that this scene always breaks my heart. These three siblings, all having never had that motherly love became a family and now it's going to be torn apart.
This drama just breaks you apart....like they lived together cherished every moment with each other as children....but once mature...everyone has their life....and to begin with they were never a blood related family members......just imagining the whole scenario it just breaks you....

My fav drama of all time. I had watched it twice back to back already and I still need more and I'm starting for the 3rd round again. This drama just sucked me in and I couldn't get out, I love everything about it , especially LingXiao and JianJian, their growing up years and how they came back togather after being apart for 9 years. And the 2 dads, best dads in the world !
The boys' mothers were the worst in this drama. They were so heartless and cruel. This is one of the most realistic Cdramas ever made. They should make more like this. Its not all cutesy and it has substance. All the actors really took their roles seriously. Highly recommended to watch.

This was such an amazing scene where she realizes that they're not her real brothers.
And separation of 9years put them more far apart.
Ling Xiao is her childhood neighbor, Ziqiu is her adoptive brother.
That's why I don't feel weird when they develop to romantic relationship later on, since they actually already like each other early on. And it's obvious that Jianjian treats them differently. It's always been Ling Xiao since day 1.

Or li jianjian- he ziqiu but i have never seen someone talking about ling xiao-he ziqiu. After dad li, Ling xiao was the one who accepted ziqiu and they were best Bros.Even though they had these misunderstandings but they still thought each other as a family.
Few examples like Ling xiao helping him when he is not financially stable or Ziqiu getting him a cake for his birthday

It's actually very difficult to have a great work like this again. As this was aired the ML was so heavily criticised to the point of cyberbullying. Ling Xiao was accused of sexually harassing Jian Jian and it escalated to SWL. The Chinese cannot appreciate a less than perfect and realistic ML. The writer left Weibo altogether. due to the criticism. Her latest work was not even near this standard (probably afraid of the backlash) It's a pity.

A late reply but if u haven't watched this yet, I highly recommend it. This drama literally made me tear up right from the start. It's a family drama but also has a love story. With different circumstances, these three became siblings (not blood related) and are always there for each other. The dads are really heartwarming in this drama.

I must say I am rather frustrated with the translation of her reply when he hit her head. Her reply was literally "Are YOU going to marry me if I became dumb". Under normal circumstances "nobody's going to marry a dumb person" or similar translations are acceptable, but not here, as the nuance would have been lost. It makes all the difference to her subtle love for him since young, even though she might not understand it yet.
