- So we're well into week four of lockdown now. Feeling kind of grungy at this point and so it was clearly the perfect excuse to crack open a few beers (Corona, what else…? ;) ), release my inner ripped-jeans-and-a-t-shirt-look-at-me-i'm-a-rock-star self and finally get round to making a video of this piece!

This is one of my all time favorite songs. You know Tamsin, if there was ever any way to do a harp arrangement for the 90 second guitar intro of "Love Song" by Tesla, I just think that would sound so beautiful!
I don't know that one, but I just had a listen and you're right, I think if it could be arranged it would sound great! I'll put it on my list of pieces to look at -thanks for the suggestion! :D

I was not born with musical tallant, but I love it
I think I like Metallica better on the harp than on the original instrument. And you've done a brilliant adaptation. The lever changes look rather scary, though. Kudos to you on making that work. I also like the way you've handled the visuals.
Thank you so much - I had a lot of fun arranging this, and lockdown gave me the perfect excuse to work on my video editing skills ;) Their ballads work surprisingly well on the harp, I always think - I've got a pupil wanting to learn 'The Unforgiven' so maybe I'll get round to doing that one myself as well...!

I wonder if the same can be said about harps!
They are so expensive (the pedal equipped) and the strings (expensive), not easily available at music stores!
So I gave up the idea of building my own harp!
It's true that pedal harps are very expensive, but lever harps are more reasonable (though still, I agree, very expensive! :( ). But if you know how to make instruments, you could make your own for much less - I wish I knew how to make harps as they are so interesting...! Good luck, if you ever get around to trying it!

Ahhh. merci - c'est trop gentil! Je suis très contente que l'arrangement vos plaît :Je regrette, puisque je l'ai fait à l'oreille je n'ai jamais créé la partition our ce morceau :( mais il devrait y avoir sur internet des arrangements pour piano ou guitar que vous pourriez adapter, j'en suis sûre! Il n'y a pas trop de changements de levier - que au début et pour changer entre le Fa bécarre et le Fa dièse dans la première partie de la mélodie... ;) Bon courage!

Ah, i'm so sorry, guys, I'm afraid I haven't written this one down! So glad you like it - it's a lot of fun to play! If I ever get round to it (and figure out the copyright...) I'll let you know, though! I just did it by ear, but there must be piano scores available that you can maybe adapt, I imagine...? Good luck, and my apologies! Guess I'd better get started on it... ;)
