What an amazing day! We took the Schmittenhohebahn up the mountain. We then spent 6 hours hiking the mountains above Zell Am See. We hikes to the top of Maurerkogel (2,074 Meters).

Ambience Junkie thank you! It was one of the most amazing places I have seen! We hiked 8 miles and climbed 177 floors (531 meters)! I am pretty sore today.

snoo333 it was amazing weather while we were there. Not sure about the other months. But it was warm and sunny most days. A few rainy days here and there. Got more rainy towards the end.
Did you take the schmittenhohebahn back down? or did you hike it back down?
We hiked for several hours and then hiked back to the Schmittenhohebahn to get back down.

Thank you for sharing your videos. We were married in Zell am See in 1996 and return 3 to 4 times a year but always great to see a new perspective on the area. Back out in August and so I think we will go up the Maurerkogel where you did your nice two in a shot panos. Never done that particular hike before so thanks for the tip.
