Probably should have looked to see if you could get one of the Giygas battle background animations for this. With Giygas being an alien with a red and black color scheme, he'd fit in pretty well. Throw in the relationship he had to someone by the name of "Maria" in Earthbound Beginnings and the two have quite a bit in common.
At least it could end with not only one of the best Sonic games ever, but also potentially the best video game movie of all-time. I don't want it to end either, but all great things come to an end I suppose

I see this more as something you'd get in Christmas 1996 as the true end to Sonic's run on the Genesis.
