I'm just starting to pick up my guitar again (I'm right handed). What I'm working on right now is developing the calluses on my fingertips that were lost some time ago. It should only take a few weeks even though muscle memory seems to come back almost instantly. I think that finger and nail grooming would be a great next video for your channel even if you have done it before. God bless and keep playing Dave!
It's not uncommon for that to happen. Just means you might be pressing down too hard. Take a break when that happens. Thanks for watching. How's your guitar playing coming along?
