- Hi everyone!
In this video I'm going to show you how to install bluetooth module in 6000CD radio. It is mostly use in Ford Focus, Ford Mondeo, Ford Fiesta, Ford C-Max etc. In each car with 6000CD cable scheme is the same.
You can buy bluetooth module from the links below. I can recommend this sellers and this modules from them, everything is working fine. I have installed few bluetooth modules from this shops and nothing wrong is happening.

IF YOU DISCONNECT THE RADIO, YOU WILL HAVE TO CODE IT USEING YOUR UNIQE RADIO CODE.
The diagram at 4.12 was everything. Bluetooth ready to pair was the best thing I've heard all day.
I did this this morning and works perfectly, thank you for your great video, I always didn’t understand why ford would have telephone buttons on a non Bluetooth stereo, makes no sense, but streaming music through the aux button is great 👍
Those buttons work with Bluetooth?

In my Blaupunkt model radio the telephone button is used only to mute the sound during a call
actually, there are many ford 6000cd that have bluetooth built in. Search for "ford 6000cd bluetooth" and there will be a video about how to add/delete phones. I think all that were produced in or after 2008

@@patrykziomek2621 właśnie jestem w trakcie robienia i zauważyłem że kolory kabli sięnnie zgadzają oraz że nie mam wejścia nr. 16 (czerwony kabel). Będę pewnie szukał innego źródła zasilania

Excellent tutorial but where did you buy the red plastic connectors as I believe this a crucial piece of the method and they arent linked below?. I take it there is no cutting away the plastic for this method?. But If you dont do it that way do you need to cut the plastic away from the green & Gray cable for the Red one. And cut the plastic away from the yellow and green for the Black one?.
check your wiring colors.

positive (+) green/yellow ACC +/ is for the red cable
negative (-) yellow/black/ ground/ is for the black cable /its not yellow/gray

@@javelinchut la misma del video no, pero atrás si viene todo igual. El interruptor que vas a desconectar, solo son 3 cables y son los que van al auxiliar que están en la guantera.

my 18 year old youngest son and starting to drive & like our 2011 Ford Focus 1.8L Gas Automatic 5door Hatchback here in the Philippines. His one request is to change the Ford Radio with at least a BT function and I've started canvassing for a brand new stereo with BT. However with these video, I think he will agree just to add a BT module.

Hi good vid great camera just one thing about terminal 16 + when I tested it it was a constant power supply even when ignition is off so if you have no switch fitted blue tooth is on all the time or connect to the wire above 16 which is on only in position 1 and 2 down side to that if you turn on the radio with ignition off blue tooth gets no power

Is this connection really correct? Yellow cable is constat battery current for clock memory. It drains battery even with ignition turned off.

Yes, it works!
You need to configure this new device as "Audio only" in your bluetooth phone settings and the 6000CD phone bluetooth as "Phone only".

White connector is "AUX". That's why, when you want to use this module, you have to push AUX button.

Sometimes you have AUX in glove box in front of passenger, but most of the time, there are Just cables without AUX connector

Bluetooth stays on all the time? Doesn't drain the battery?
How many phone is possible to connect? How can i reset the module to erase all phone in memory?
I have the focus mk2 with the Sony cd132 it has a phone button which just mutes audio, is there a specific Bluetooth module for this stereo?
I think Bluetooth was an option so there must be a standard module available?

@@duarte824 The easiest solution is just buy a new modern head unit with Bluetooth already built in.
That way you get other useful features like built in sat nav, reverse cam input, USB memory stick mp3 compatibility, large touch screen etc
It can be done using stock Ford parts but you need the Bluetooth voice module that hides behind the glove compartment somewhere and the column stick with the audio controls has to have a 'voice' button on the top!
It can be done but is a bit of a faff to be honest.
Just search focus mk2 Bluetooth touch screen head unit on TH-cam, they come with a nice stock looking trim panel that incorporates your stock hazard button etc brings the whole interior up to date, easy to install, plug and play into your existing loom and not too expensive.

Maybe it is not correctly, maybe there is no power in the module, check it. Or Just module is damaged.
U mnie napiecie bylo na innych kablach. Pietro wyzej. Nie musialem tez przekrecac kluczyka.
Po przekrecenia kluczyka teraz niektore rzeczycwolniej sie zalaczaja. Check engine i shift light wolniej sie załączają.
Moze inny modul lub opornosc w ukladzie.
Pamiętasz może kolory tych kabli?

There is a diference becouse of bluetooth use codec warse than cd quality.

Witam ! Postąpiłem zgodnie z twoimi instrukcjami i niby moduł bluetooth działa ale mam szumy i piski w głośnikach ale też słyszę to co odtwarzam. Teraz kwestia czy to wina modułu czy może też radia. Dodam że sprawdziłem czy wszystkie kable są dobrze spięte ze sobą. Może wiesz gdzie leży problem?

Is it possible to wire this so when the ignition is off but the radio is on it provides power? When the radio goes off (after one hour) it stops drawing from the battery?
wiring anything is possible you just need to look at a wiring diagram and think about it for a bit

I cannot get this working in my Mk2 Focus. I seem to have the same bluetooth module and stereo as you. I inititally installed it and although it would power and pair to the phone there was no sound. Looking again the colouring for the module wiring looked wrong.. pin11 was yellow and white was going to 6 (should be ground afaik) so i tried reversing that but still nothing. Investigating more i hack an old earphone lead and playing back off my ipod tested the stereo aux inputs and that seems to be the issue, no sound coming through the aux. Does there need to be a fuse in that area above where the module plugs in and if so what type is it? Can't think of much else cept a bad head unit and info is very hard to come by. Have posted on Ford forums but no replies.

Kaseryn- check that the new connector block is connecting securely to the pins in the head unit. I had the same problem as you; turned out I was just one row of pins out from where I should have been. The new connector block lacks the clip on the side and hence is slightly smaller, and can be located in the wrong position.
Czy moduł działa tylko przy włączonym radiu ? Ja mam cała przejściówkę z Ali i moduł działa cały czas nawet z wyłączonym radiem. Rozumiem że muszę przepiąć kable zasilania adaptera ?

witam, zakupiłem identyczny bluetooth, jeśli chodzi o muzykę działa wszystko ładnie, ale jeśli wykonujemy połączenie z telefonu to słyszymy rozmówcę w głośnikach natomiast on nas nie słyszy, dodam że mam oryginalny mikrofon w lampce podsufitki i zestaw głośnomówiący działa jak jest podpięta kostka od AUX, jeśli zamienimy ją na BT mikrofon przestaje działać, czy jest jakiś sposób na to żeby fabryczny mikrofon działał?
A skoro masz mikrofon to nie masz przypadkiem fabrycznie Bluetooth w radio?
@@podkarpackiezdrona3972 niestety nie, było fabryczne AUX. Z tego co udało mi się ustalić muszę podpiąć oryginalny moduł bluetooth wtedy będzie działał zestaw głośnomówiący, na chwilę obecną mam podpięty ten zakupiony BT ze względu na wygodę w odtwarzaniu muzyki.

@@tomasztomasz9854 to w takim wypadku trzeba podłączyć mikrofon pod moduł, w innym wypadku będzie się dziać tak jak w przypadku sytuacji opisanej powyżej. Po rozkręceniu modułu są piny na mikrofon, ale nie mam pojęcia czy te oryginalne podejdą

Podłączyłem, robiłem wszystko krok po kroku i działa bez zarzutów. Użyłem złączek budowlanych, zaizolowalem taśmą i śmiga 😁 świetny poradnik 😉
