      @@a.m9886 doesn't bits of the page come off along with the sticky note when you peel em off? I want to annotate my books, but I'm scared to do it cuz I know I'll write something, it won't be perfect or I won't like it what I've written latter, I'll be irritated and mad at myself that I've permanently ruined the book, and I'll never regard that book with as much fondness as I would've if I hadn't annotated them and the pages would've remained clean, simply because my bitter feelings are now associated with the book as well.

      I suggest using sticky notes in your books, if you are not entirely committed to writing in them.
      Or, if you are ready to start writing in them, I suggest writing in pencil, because pencil can always be erased ☺️

    I'm buying the same tabs to annotate a book I loved. It's my first time tabbing a book and I'm afraid that the tabs will leave residue or tear the page if I decide later that I would like to remove them. Have you ever had any of this after removing them after years of them being on a page?

    • @Lyfewithsamantha
      @Lyfewithsamantha  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      In my experience I never had this issue the residue is pretty light and when I have removed them from a page it hasn’t left any residue behind either. My copy of secret garden has been tabbed for 6 years and it’s been ok andni can easily remove the tabs as I’ve re read the book over the years ☺️ I hope this helps 😅

      Well, if it’s a personalized story for me 🤔 I would love a fantasy Almost like lord, of the rings, eragon, and Harry Potter mixed Something that’s very character and story driven with not too many plot twists because I feel like lately stories are relying too much on plot twists, a hint of romance that is important to the story, but is not what is heavily driving the story I want the adventure and the mission to be the most important part ☺️ that’s what I would enjoy been looking for books like that 😅

    • @Lyfewithsamantha
      @Lyfewithsamantha  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Super valid question! ☺️ I actually started annotating for different reasons depending on the book it helps me keep track of the plot it also helps me keep track of world building if necessary. The main reason I annotate any book is just to keep share my thoughts on the book I’m reading if it’s something heartbreaking I write down what I was feeling about it or even try to connect it with any plot progression. I also tend to mark down any memorable quotes that really resonated with me. There are so many reason and ways to annotate everyone has their own personal reasons but this is just mine. Sorry super long lol but I hope this answered your question 😅🫶🏻
