As long as armor parts are 50% and up you can use field armor toolkits to repair them for an added 25% condition before you use them to repair your gear. It saves you from using expensive repair kits. You can also use a duplicate armor part as a bonus 25% on top of the initial 25% the field armor toolkit gives you. Hope my explanation makes sense. With Burers, there's actually 3 types as I understand it. Base game burers that do impact damage and can steal your guns which you can ID from the gravity anomaly effect when they block, lightning burers, which have that electric effect and a shorter range but throw items faster and harder and can do a lightning bolt zap after blocking, and fire burers that can shoot a fire blast that is super deadly but can't throw stuff.
Just tried the Ledge climbing mod, game changer mod for sure, it does work for EFP aswell but you need to update the MODDED EXES, link for them is on the Ledge grabbing modpage for those who wonder
Not sure if you heard this before, but the first level upgrade for all helmets is a big stamina regen buff. I always do it, even without the upgrade kit (just paying the tech to do it for me) as it lets you get a bit closer to carry limit, run futher, etc. After that, you can choose either a chem or rad resistance buff, also useful, especially since that sphere helm has pretty low chem resist. Good work on the series btw, loving it so far. Edit: I shouldv'e finished the video lol

If what you mean is you dont know the dialog option, its the Upgrade/Repair one, click the item you want to work on, then in the top right of the tech's side of the screen (on the right) is a cog, click that to view the options.

Also I believe ever 8th stash coordinate is a guaranteed green stash so if you bring mutant parts/random junk for turn ins you can spam them at faction bases along with doing bounties, mutant hunts, or any fetch quest

Qloud, man I love your videos. you are honestly super underrated. one tip I can give you is that when aiming at an enemy, it shows their little patch and the name and faction. when you kill the enemy, the patch becomes grey meaning you killed him. hope this helps. also, I think there is a modpack that keeps the current quality of the game but makes it a little smoother, I think the mod does something like optimize it better, but when I was playing as a ironman Merc run it helped reduce the lag. ill try finding it and hitting you up!
About Disguises the rate at which they can discover you're not one of them depends on the durability of your armour plus don't take your gun out in front of the faction you're disguising as. Which guns you carry doesn't matter at all but ofcourse don't stand up close to NPCs or else they'll discover you which happened with Butcher. You can go into the bandit base safely just keep your gun holstered and don't sprint too much. If you were to do a few missions for factions which aren't neutral to mercs your merc rep may or may not fall because they'll dislike that. Ik idk how they know that we did that while we are disguised but that's how it works. Loving the series keep it up bro.
Disguised or not, if you gain rep with certain factions while completing its missions, you will risk losing rep with one of its rival factions. There is no way to bypass that. Mercs and Military are the most "sensitive" of the bunch. Completing rival faction missions will almost always make you lose rep with them, its freaking pain in the ass to level both up to the max rep.
Ya grass isnt considered in NPC visual detection formula. Just bushes, trees and other large, static flora. Some rare exceptions here and there (teeny tiny bushes, invisible bushes and other oddities). This is why most players play with settings to make grass smaller rather than overgrowth. Its exceptionally better on performance, and prevents you from getting unfairly shot through tall grass. As far as NPCs are concerned, there is NO grass.
The Quest to get the elusive gunsmiting tools continues :). I cant belive you are getting so unlucky on getting one. On my gamma camping i having the oposite and having the same issues finding better tools while swiming in gunsmiting tools and drug making kits lol.

Also for the SSAO modes; HBAO (Horizon Based Ambient Occlusion) is best for Nvidia graphics cards. HDAO (High Definition Ambient Occlusion) is best for AMD cards. SSDO (Screen Space Direction Occlusion) I couldn't find anything on other than it seems to be less intensive on older systems.
Love this series man! It's interesting seeing the lengths you have to go to playing as UNISG even to just get some ballistic tools. I also like how you don't shy away from combat even on an IronMan run. Keep up the good work! The 10k is well deserved!
Helpful tip might of known but forgot about, can also check details on any component or any item to see what it can be repaired with, used for, compatible parts for guns, ect
not sure if you knew but when you are reloading a shotgun it's possible to stop the reloading by pressing left mouse button (good for guns with bigger tube mag) edit: Congrats for hitting 10k!

Not sure if you read new comments, but here is the tip about exchanging armor. You don't NEED to be in a faction to use the armor exchange option at their main trader. You have be PERCEIVED as a member of their faction to exchange armor. So to get Clear Sky SKAT-9 you will need a Clear Sky jacket or any other their armor (fully repaired) and SKAT that you want to exchange. Go to the swamps, wear their faction armor with a patch, go to the main trader - VOILA! You have an option to exchange your SKAT-9 for the Clear Sky one.
Be careful attacking people while disguised, if its any other faction than bandits, maybe even them sometimes. Your goodwill carries with the disguise sometimes and you might be disguised but they will auto attack you if you go negative goodwill. At least its happened to me a few times.
For Grass Shadows, I believe you can turn this off and play around with 'Cascade shadows' in the SSS menu in MCM to get the same affect but with less performance impact. Anecdotaly I haven't noticed a visual difference but gained some additional fps.

This is pretty unrelated to the video, but for the sniper you've been using, the Kar98k. I've noticed just how little armor penetration the ammo it fires has. The 7.92 FMJ can pierce up to BR2, which is even lower than I thought it would be. The AP version can pierce through BR4, so it's a little better. Unfortunately, the Kar98k using the normal ammo is probably going to take more than a few shots on anything above a low-tier bandit. Edit: Apparently 7.92 can pierce up to BR3, not BR2, sorry for the misinfo.
You can repair every part of armor, just check info of it, there will be few ways to repair it, so you can fix suit to ~85-90% in 1 charge, and weapon parts works same
FYI: There is a bug, or at least I hope it's a bug, with crafting toolkits. Sometimes I get one with only two uses on it and other times full uses. The heavy toolkit is supposed to have 5, unless there can be changes made within the mod. I was crafting 4 mediums to make the heavy and I got 3 with full uses and one with only half. I haven't posted the bug so I don't know if they already know about it or not or if it is even a bug. I now always save before crafting one because they are so expensive.
the accuracy is like an "invesible" spread, the bullet has an area of hit, so how much far u got more the 86% of accuracy impacts u, with such low Accuracy try to center mass te target and i think u get better results... to pin point headshots this so far u need an 98% Acuracy to consistency
AP ammo punches through armor, but does less damage compared to fmj on a lightly armored or unarmored enemy. where as hollow point/ hydro shock does massive damage against lightly armored/ unarmored enemies. so while you might be hitting the armored foes with AP, overall it's less damaging, but is still better than using fmj on them.
FYI: For the armor parts, you can repair all of them as long as they aren't below 50%. Just right click the armor part and click DETAILS that will show you what item you need to repair it with.
The only faction you use a disquise thats ineffective would be the monolith,sin is neutral to monolith so a free pass to the CNPP,Limansk,Red Forest,Abandoned Hospital perhaps? Never seen anyone trying that before so could be worth testing? And if I'm not mistaken if you accept package delivery in disquise it will automatically spawn in your inventory using this method you could trick hostile factions into giving you packages for you to unpack and reap the rewards it's not like you need to be friendly with the bandits since you are UNISG right?

If you have an armor that is max condition its almost impossible to get discovered by the faction you are disguising as or the faction that is friendly to that faction so you can go to sultan and talk to him but you have to have your armor at max condition

Isn't faction patch "consumed" or wasted when removed/attached as someone mentioned is previous videos? And it's better to stip away armor and put it back in? If I was doing disguise playthrough then "AI can't see through bushes" would be my major mod to apply. If they can hide in the bushes - so should the player (me).
There is a low chance that the patch gets destroyed, i'v had it disappear on me before (may be a bug tho) so i never use patch attachment and just carry a low weight science suit with me and throw it on when i need it

How do you get techs to upgrade gear for you? I don't have that option when talking to techs anywhere I've been so far.

I love the hunt for very specific items like the gunsmithing tools, as well as the upgrading and fixing of clothing and weapons. It's a lot of fun.
While reloading, press LMB to cancel and ready the weapon. This way you can partially reload shotties.

I found a repair kit in a UNISG stash they are good
You can craft HEAVY ARMOR REPAIR KIT in a easier way there are to ways the other is in the crafting on top

Green Stashes come every 8 stash's or 10, i really don't remember... so spam quests is the best way to farm the green ones.
Don't know if you know this but you can shoot artifacts to move them

RED DOT FIX - if you cannot get your reddot to appear try to change the Texture Detail slider to about 75%. It fixed it for me.

Are those Lurkers a Metro reference? I've never played Gamma, but I don't recognize Lurkers from the base game
Not just a reference, the base model of the lurker is a direct copy of the ones on metro. But on this patch, it gets a reanimation.
