Yeah, I thougt so too. I recommend watching an extend clip of that conversation if that intrests you. Ike later goes on explaining his thougt process and why all of them chose the name luxiem, how it came to be etc
I think all the waves pick their own name (if they want to) if I’m not mistaken. I know Noctyx also picked their own name as well. I can’t recall if any of the ladies said they picked their own name but I would assume so, or they at least had a hand in helping pick it.

They are given a theme they have to stick to, but they do get to choose their own name.

In case you didn't know, I offer this piece of wonderful information. Ike suggested "Royal Flash" (as royal flush with a twist), then Vox suggested latin words "Lux" (light) + "Regium" (royal) = "Luxium", but this was already taken, so they settled for "Luxiem". So, in a way, they're indeed called "Royal Flash"😂
*Edit: This explanation was given by Luca in the stream linked in the description:) I don't know if Luca has said anything else about it, since I usually can't catch his streams.
