I have a Gardenia I purchased as a small plant about 10 years ago that’s massive and scents my entire doorway most of the summer. Love them.

Thank you. I appreciate the fact that you started the video telling where you are located. With some gardening videos, you don't even know where the person is, so you don't know whether or not the plants they are promoting are appropriate for your climate.

From what I've smelled, not all frangipanis are fragrant. I was in Puerto Rico and they grow like crazy and were in full bloom. Not all we're scented. If you want to make sure you have a frangrant variety, buy that specific hybrid.

Most of these are so common where I'm from hahaha. I have a gardenia and two huge frangipanis in my garden, and several of my neighbours have them too. I just bought that same variety of jasmine sambac and waiting for it to arrive, it's known as belle of India. In the same order I also bought a yesterday, today and tomorrow plant and orange jasmine, which are also fragrant. The tea olive is known as osmanthus here... never smelled it before, it's not as common as the others but I'm so curious about it now

Sambac, hedychium and ylang-ylang is a trio that's found in garlands here in the Philippines.
I just got myself some aglaia odorata but the fragrance isn't that strong, I had to get close to smell it. Planning to get gardenia, murraya paniculata and tuberose in the future. I wish I can find a seller for osmanthus here.
