Man, you are a Godsend. I had that exact movement in mind and was all set to keyframe my life away trying to a turning motion to line up with a walking motion. Then, suddenly, boom there your video was, it was like kismet. I got right on it this am and your instructions worked perfectly. Thanks brother. You saved my time and frustration beyond belief. Liked, subbed, and rang the bell.
Hi, first of all thanks for this which seems like a great tutorial, explaining details that others don't. But it seems like either i'm dumb enough and am not able to replicate your actions or Iclone became worse with recent updates. I have version 7.93 and nothing changes when i click on "Align to Actor orientation" and "Reset Motion Root", i don't see the gizmo rotating with the character like in your tutorial, so i still have the same problem like before and my character will suddenly flip 180 for a quick second, before then turning the right direction and following the path i created...help please
My bad: apparently in order to get the same result as in the video tutorial you have to get the animations from the content list. I picked the animations using Mixmoves for the "walk turn" and then motion puppet for the walking animation. Still, i think this is totally weird and don't get why the gizmo alignment doesn't work if you get the same animations through a different procedure. I feel like it should be improved. Anyway i'm really thankful for this tutorial man
I've been using iClone a lot for 3 years.. THIS is one of the most useful tutorials I've seen.. well done.

Thanks for the kind words. I am putting another one out today on some soft cloth issues that no one seems to cover.
I'm having the exact same problem in iClone 8, and my drop-down animation menu doesn't have that option.
Did you ever figure it out?
How do we do this in iclone8? I am having this exact problem but the menu options have changed and the fix you present isn't there anymore!
Thanks for the video it is a big help.
Iclone is essential to my ue4 workflow!
This is incredible
Awesome tutorial! Thanks very much for sharing this :) 👍
I've not seen this info anywhere else, but without it, you won't be able to use Motion Clips.
Definitely raise your recording volume. Can't hardly hear you.
Second that. Good tut, but yes, need better recording signal next time so we can actually hear you.
