Just grabbing what I have around me today so I grabbed index cards and manilla folders and some index card dividers and off we go to have some papery fun for our junk journals! Let's Play!

Love these tiny file folders. I love coming to your craft room and watching you craft. Having you teach me things that I haven't thought of yet. For you it must be like having the joy of a bunch of us over for coffee and crafts without having the big cleanup after. Lol

What a great tutorial. I like your imaginative creations and that we don't always have to have a specific digi kit. I made this mini file folder with a double thickness of brown shopping bag,decorated the outside with decorative paper,added a small tablet on the inside, and folded the pocket in place and added journaling cards. I'm looking forward to making a whole lot more. What fun. TFS. Stay safe and be healthy.

Lovely ideas Pam. I have solver the moving tools problem - I have a magnetic strip on the shelf next to my work area, so as long as I put the tool straight back on the magnet, it's not lost!

Pam, i finally got my first journal done!🥵. I know you put a peice of paper in the front that has directions, or ideas on how to use a junk journal, and what it is. Where can I find one or did you make it up? I cant do that kind of writing....😫. If you could share where to get a printable, i would so appreciate it! My journal doesn’t close well, it lays on its back all spread out. Its beautiful 🥰. She’s 7 1/2 “ gator mouth. Im not quite done. I have to stick with stickers and inking . Ill try to send a pic on facebook....when she’s completed

Love this. You show how one doesn’t need a special punch to make tabs for a mini file folder, which encourages me to not spend unnecessarily on paper punches that aren’t versatile (I’m always in a “no spend” mode or try to be LOL). Great video! But I am partial to file folder crafts, heh heh! TFS!
So fun! I cut 2 different sized folders from a recycled UPS envelope and covered with pretty papers. Only I made an error and the front of my second one has the paper upside down! ooops. I may have to re-cover it, or just add embellishments. Thanks, Pam!
I used my We R Memory Envelope maker for tabs on my index cards! It worked great! Just a little hint if anyone has it!!! Thank you these are sooooo adorable!!!

What a great idea for those file folder dividers. I've always passed them up because I didn't know quite what I would use them for.
I've made some with gluing two recipe file cards together leaving one end open for tucking a goodie inside.

Pam, you would have been super proud of me today. I tried sewing (I can sew a button back on a shirt but that's about it) a face mask on an actual sewing machine. Complete disaster pants! The elastic loops are so tight they pull my ears out & I look quite Dumboesque in my new mask. And the stitching? Straight lines are for amateurs! I might not get a date, but at least I'm doing my part, right?

I had to interrupt my watching of this video this morning to go to work (boo hiss), but I couldn't get these little guys out of my mind. I don't paper craft, but who doesn't have a file folder/index cards and with a search around the house, some bits and pieces one could use to make one. I know I have some ladies cloth hankies I could even use! I can see these in my pocketbook to corral my ATM slips and other small papery things I keep in there...my med list-- oh hey! one could create a 'red cross' one to include all your emergency medical data in case of an accident somewhere. If I'm not careful, I could fall into the paper crafting rabbit hole!

Lovely. I shall definitely be making these. It’s strange how you refer to your journals as ‘she’. I refer to mine (and most things like plants etc) as ‘he’.
I never liked to fussy cut either, probably because I wasn't very good at it. However, I recently did a bunch of it, and now enjoy it. I think by doing it more, I got a little better at it. But, I can relate. Another great video, Pam!

Suggestion that I find helpful: Stand the ink dauber on top of the ink pad lid, then it's not rolling around the desk. They become a sort of matched unit.

Did not know you could run a strip of washi tape over a glue stick for extra tacky day did not know I could spritz water over my tim holtz ink pad to reactivate the ink. What a font of info you are. Thx

Make a diagonal cut too the center of the curve before you make your straight cuts. It makes cutting the curve so easy as half the curve drops off when you make your straight cuts. Thanks for the glue stick tip when using washi tape

i have the little tabs they comes with the paper packs the ephemeras and the chipboard pieces so i have a template as you were speaking i looked in the Hutch near my desk and i found a pack of index recipe cards with flowers i don't remember where i got them they surprise me i will have a go at it for i just took out the journal i started and i wanted to do a little something on it i like this it is so KOOL!!!! yeah where is the parrot i am not hearing him the re inker for mine i used it it is so messy and i have been using the dauber with out using the ink wow i did not know i like inking ok it makes the craft look so old and vintage i ink everything even the special orders NICE!!!! i love it i have some washi tape so off i go thank you i will be coloring the flowers and butterflies on mine thank you great idea Lois
