Since the energy beam is called the Proton Scream, and cast members even refer to it as a "laser beam," it's possible that the energy beam is actually some form of atomic collider that fires protons at light speed to create new atomic reactions, basically a more powerful and weaponized version of a real life hadron colliders. Not canon, but it is something that could explain how the Proton Scream works.
It would sweet if APEX developed Proton Pulses out of the dorsal plates that acts as counter and even more dangerous version of Burning Godzilla's Nuclear Pulse. When Kong tries to jump on the mech, he'll be met by the devastating blast.
The monsterverse version of Mechagodzilla is honestly my favorite design of the character to date. It's brutal, it's powerful-looking, and it's scary to see in action. When it moves there's a lot of weight to it, but it's also much faster and more agile than one would expect something of its mass. The fact it was able to hold off two Alpha titans on its own (even if they were weakened and tired) is impressive. Kevin got a serious upgrade.
Mechagodzilla also had 2 ORCAs, located in its eyes. That’s how Godzilla was able to locate Mechagodzilla in Pensacola and in Hong Kong. Apex did this so that once Godzilla was killed, Ghidorah could once again be the Alpha. Edit: It’s not for Ghidorah to be the Alpha, it’s for Man to be the Alpha species. Drones controlled by MechaG would've been interesting and if it's dorsals could transform into drones man MechaG would've had a heck of a mini army. But those buzz saws in it's grapple claws and jaw grinders those are some really nasty weaponry MechaG had and sorta badass in a way.
Given that if kong hadn't interfere their battle, mechagodzilla would've killed godzilla, which would give other organizations that want to destroy the titans to look into the mechagodzilla and try to improve the design that could last in a 2v1 fight which if the monsterverse continues which is likely mechagodzilla will return but much more dangerous

Unless Mechagodzilla bit a skull crawler the meat grinders wouldn’t really be needed because most of the the Titans he was facing have thick arms and legs. To think to go in his mouth. Therefore those grinders were specifically designed for Skullcrawlers…. …or for humans.
Oh no those grinders would work wonders on Godzilla especially if he gets him by the neck where his gills are located the weakest part of his body where missiles from 2014 caused him to reel back in pain

That's a cool reason they gave for building a giant *Godzilla-shaped mech* instead of something more practical. But I also think it could have to do with the fact Apex were literally making their OWN TITAN. Ghidorah's brain is used to controlling an animal body (legs, tails, arms etc) A giant tank or more traditional military vehicle doesn't have that kind of anatomy. Apex needed a weapon built like a living thing.

Yea. No matter which way you spin it MG would lose to full-strength goji and kong. He only started to win because they were both exhausted. In a one-on-one fight MG would barely beat full strength Goji, and rip Kong apart.
Drones would have been very useful for MechaG for simple utility- a drone can, for example, approach an enemy Titan and evaluate it without the enemy Titan noticing. Drones would also be very useful for letting MechaG maintain awareness in its blind spots, so it could maintain awareness of everything around it without turning its head and body to do so. There's the added potential that drones would have been used for long distance attacks, so that MechaG could wear down an enemy Titan before ever getting within range of a counter-attack.

I think it would’ve been really clever if Mecha G’s missiles had an upgrade. We have all seen how pitifully pathetic human weapons do against Titans, missiles literally tickle them. Wouldn’t it have been cool if Mecha G or even the Navy saw what the “Oxygen Destroyer” did to Godzilla and decided to replicate it? Albeit in a smaller form, micro-missiles with oxygen destroying capabilities that when Godzilla makes contact with, slowly siphons away his radiation. I would’ve liked to see that, like when Mecha G runs at Godzilla and blasts the salvo of missiles at him, Godzilla just runs through them. Imagine with the upgraded, “micro oxygen destroyers” hitting him, instead of him running through it, it slows him down. It doesn’t fatally wound him, but he feels it, feels it enough to groan in pain and halt to a point to when Mecha G collides with him, it’s not a stand-still. He knocks Godzilla straight to the ground with authority and instantly shows the audience that Godzilla is in for it within 5 seconds of the fight. And every time the missiles hit Godzilla and obviously explode, it would have a beaming blue hue to it, instead of the normal orange fire with today weapons. Idk, just a thought, would’ve been nice to see the oxygen destroyers get adapted into “anti-Godzilla” weapons that jets, Navy, and of course, Mecha G would be equipped with.
Imagining that Godzilla was scared of Mecha makes me even more umcomfortable. We grew up with him fighting with every kind of monsters, and seeing him afraid of something is really strange

It’s actually interesting on how many similarities Mechagodzilla has to Gigan. They are both cyborgs. They both have a lot of red coloristic on them. They both use red beams. Are incredibly brutal, basically sadistic in combat. And both have weapons which can deal huge pain to their enemies like buzzsaws.
I would have given Mechagodzilla electrical claws to discharge electricity into the target from his claws upon contact. This could be used to impale and then disrupt the nervous system of his opponent by sending electrical signals throughout their body. I would also give him a self-destruct mode. He could use it if he is pinned and must absolutely assure his opponent's destruction or it can be used if Mechagodzilla goes rogue.

Knew that Mecha G could rotate his hands into buzzsaws! He could literally spin them with such speed it just adds in more pummeling force to each blow Mecha G deals! It's like a sort of Fisticuff Blender but it's also a Fisticuff Drill as well.

Nothing saying he can be rebuilt and utilize these abilities more. Those saws and grinder jaws are absolutely scary and a great addition to an absolute mechanical nightmare.
I rlly hope they bring back Biollante in the Monsterverse for the next Monsterverse movie. In fact i kind thought of a great way to not only introduce Biollante in the Monsterverse but also are fan favorite Kaiju from previous films and from the books too like Rodan, Behemoth, Scylla, Methusalah, Queen Muto, Amhuluk, Tiamat, Na Kika, and especially Mothra. Here's my idea for the next Monsterverse Villain. Biollante was created Dr. De La Rosa from Apex Cybernetics made from the same cells from Godzilla and plant DNA but not just Godzilla's Cells, but also from Earth's most powerful Titans, from Rodan, Mothra, and even the Titan King Ghidorah during the Attack of the Titans (not the anime). The way the collected the samples from other titans was from a fleet of tiny robots the size of a bird able to get in close without detection monitoring even move from other titans and a stream of data is being relad to Apex for analysis or how knows it just might take another cell sample from the most powerful titan. How she will become the next big threat is that she will go around thw world killing titans for there radiation energy for her own and the more she feeds the more powerful she becomes having powers from even different titan. But she requires more the radiation energy from other titans she cannot become truly perfect until she has also absorbed two highly specialized life forms without them the computer statics sbow that she never reach the full potential of her design. The ones she needs are two of Mothra babys both having the power if mother nature and life itself and once she achieve her perfect form and power she'll be invincible THE POWER THE EARTH HAS EVER KNOWN!!!

It's kind of funny when you think about it, if humans still could have taken control of the mecha we would have been more powerful than godzilla Ah well we make mistakes can't wait to see mechagodzilla II now
Ghidorah was practically torturing Godzilla, but if Ren Serizawa controlled the Mecha he would surely have finished him as quickly and efficiently as possible.
I think it would be cooler if mecha g hand more missile launches on its sides and arms, had longer lower legs and forearms, could have swords come out of his forearms for attack, had bigger and sharper dorsal spikes, had harpoon’s modeled after previous versions of it self, had 4 spider like legs for locomotion, attack, could turn into thrusters so it could fly, and turn them rail guns at the ends, it could have had longer feet with 4 tallens in the front and 1 in the back for attack and better traction, had a chest cannon to do colossal damage, and could heal itself with king ghidorah electrical abilities. But the drones aren’t a bad idea.
Mechagodzilla did actually attempted to use his jaw grinders once in the film. After his tail driller was disabled while being stalled by Josh Valentine, it resorted to using its jaws, and attempted to use them on Kong while restraining his arms. This can be more clearly seen if you pay attention to Mechagodzilla while Godzilla fired his atomic breath to charge up Kong’s battle axe.

He probably joined APEX but got betrayed by APEX along w/ his squadron once the ORCA's schematics were delivered to them (Emma's ORCA probably melted when Godzilla went thermonuclear & made roasted space wyvern dust)
MechaGodzilla was also meant to have a ORCA DEVICE, called Orca Z, Maya Simmons would have activated it at Pensacola to trigger Godzilla, so when the Mecha kills him, her father would be seen as a hero.
I always love it when people who create stuff for movies like this are go over what they should do and make a complete version even if it get in the movie or not.

I'm gonna say that as weapons, drones would be useless. Kong and Zilla have casually swatted away Apaches and fighter jets. A drone isn't doing shit. That said, Drones would be incredibly useful for Mecha as a battlefield analysis tool, having a birds eye view, no blind spots, as a distraction or irritation with pepper spray and tear gas. They could just fly around gassing everything because Mecha has no eyes or nose... no soft vulnerable mucosal membranes, Mecha is invulnerable to that kind of attack. So that's how I'd use them. Get them high up, giving me a birds eye view. Have a few constantly tracking Kong because of how fast he is and when there is an opening, have a few divebomb in swoop past his face while deploying gallons of tear gas and pepper spray and other horrible shit. It will add up and get worse and worse and worse until they can't see, can't smell... face and wounds are burning. The longer the fight goes on, the more my advantage grows. My saws and blades and grinders make small open woulds all over them, and the gas seeps in and makes them feel like they're on fire. Yeah... I know. I'm fucked up... lol But hey, if Apex hired me to kill Kaiju... I'd do it, and I'd do it well. Fighting dirty doesn't exist between monsters. I'd have to become a monster too!

Wouldn’t it have been cool if Mecha G or even the Navy saw what the “Oxygen Destroyer” did to Godzilla and decided to replicate it? Albeit in a smaller form, micro-missiles with oxygen destroying capabilities that when Godzilla makes contact with, slowly siphons away his radiation. I would’ve liked to see that, like when Mecha G runs at Godzilla and blasts the salvo of missiles at him, Godzilla just runs through them. Imagine with the upgraded, “micro oxygen destroyers” hitting him, instead of him running through it, it slows him down. It doesn’t fatally wound him, but he feels it, feels it enough to groan in pain and halt to a point to when Mecha G collides with him, it’s not a stand-still. He knocks Godzilla straight to the ground with authority and instantly shows the audience that Godzilla is in for it within 5 seconds of the fight. And every time the missiles hit Godzilla and obviously explode, it would have a beaming blue hue to it, instead of the normal orange fire with today weapons. Idk, just a thought, would’ve been nice to see the oxygen destroyers get adapted into “anti-Godzilla” weapons that jets, Navy, and of course, Mecha G would be equipped with.

Imagining that Godzilla was scared of Mecha makes me even more umcomfortable. We grew up with him fighting with every kind of monsters, and seeing him afraid of something is really strange

It’s actually interesting on how many similarities Mechagodzilla has to Gigan.
They are both cyborgs. They both have a lot of red coloristic on them. They both use red beams. Are incredibly brutal, basically sadistic in combat. And both have weapons which can deal huge pain to their enemies like buzzsaws.
They really out a lot of thought into MechaG’s design! I love it! Great video as per usual!
I would have given Mechagodzilla electrical claws to discharge electricity into the target from his claws upon contact. This could be used to impale and then disrupt the nervous system of his opponent by sending electrical signals throughout their body. I would also give him a self-destruct mode. He could use it if he is pinned and must absolutely assure his opponent's destruction or it can be used if Mechagodzilla goes rogue.
As to the first idea, some previous iterations of MechaG had this feature

@@dakotamatheson9884 I don’t disagree. It could be effective depending on the Titan. In the ‘02 Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla, it did cause Godzilla to back up a bit when stabbed into his arm. A stab to the torso could be quite effective.
Knew that Mecha G could rotate his hands into buzzsaws! He could literally spin them with such speed it just adds in more pummeling force to each blow Mecha G deals! It's like a sort of Fisticuff Blender but it's also a Fisticuff Drill as well.
I would like to see a fight where burning G and Mecha G fight

I rlly hope they bring back Biollante in the Monsterverse for the next Monsterverse movie. In fact i kind thought of a great way to not only introduce Biollante in the Monsterverse but also are fan favorite Kaiju from previous films and from the books too like Rodan, Behemoth, Scylla, Methusalah, Queen Muto, Amhuluk, Tiamat, Na Kika, and especially Mothra. Here's my idea for the next Monsterverse Villain. Biollante was created Dr. De La Rosa from Apex Cybernetics made from the same cells from Godzilla and plant DNA but not just Godzilla's Cells, but also from Earth's most powerful Titans, from Rodan, Mothra, and even the Titan King Ghidorah during the Attack of the Titans (not the anime). The way the collected the samples from other titans was from a fleet of tiny robots the size of a bird able to get in close without detection monitoring even move from other titans and a stream of data is being relad to Apex for analysis or how knows it just might take another cell sample from the most powerful titan. How she will become the next big threat is that she will go around thw world killing titans for there radiation energy for her own and the more she feeds the more powerful she becomes having powers from even different titan. But she requires more the radiation energy from other titans she cannot become truly perfect until she has also absorbed two highly specialized life forms without them the computer statics sbow that she never reach the full potential of her design. The ones she needs are two of Mothra babys both having the power if mother nature and life itself and once she achieve her perfect form and power she'll be invincible THE POWER THE EARTH HAS EVER KNOWN!!!

I think it would be cooler if mecha g hand more missile launches on its sides and arms, had longer lower legs and forearms, could have swords come out of his forearms for attack, had bigger and sharper dorsal spikes, had harpoon’s modeled after previous versions of it self, had 4 spider like legs for locomotion, attack, could turn into thrusters so it could fly, and turn them rail guns at the ends, it could have had longer feet with 4 tallens in the front and 1 in the back for attack and better traction, had a chest cannon to do colossal damage, and could heal itself with king ghidorah electrical abilities. But the drones aren’t a bad idea.
That would be awesome. If you add jaw grinders, buzz saws, and orca z devices to it, then damm.

I thought he could shoot lasers from his eyes that would’ve been so cool then the atomic ray he had.
Mechagodzilla did actually attempted to use his jaw grinders once in the film. After his tail driller was disabled while being stalled by Josh Valentine, it resorted to using its jaws, and attempted to use them on Kong while restraining his arms. This can be more clearly seen if you pay attention to Mechagodzilla while Godzilla fired his atomic breath to charge up Kong’s battle axe.

I'm gonna say that as weapons, drones would be useless. Kong and Zilla have casually swatted away Apaches and fighter jets. A drone isn't doing shit.
That said, Drones would be incredibly useful for Mecha as a battlefield analysis tool, having a birds eye view, no blind spots, as a distraction or irritation with pepper spray and tear gas. They could just fly around gassing everything because Mecha has no eyes or nose... no soft vulnerable mucosal membranes, Mecha is invulnerable to that kind of attack.
So that's how I'd use them.
Get them high up, giving me a birds eye view. Have a few constantly tracking Kong because of how fast he is and when there is an opening, have a few divebomb in swoop past his face while deploying gallons of tear gas and pepper spray and other horrible shit. It will add up and get worse and worse and worse until they can't see, can't smell... face and wounds are burning.
The longer the fight goes on, the more my advantage grows. My saws and blades and grinders make small open woulds all over them, and the gas seeps in and makes them feel like they're on fire.
Yeah... I know. I'm fucked up... lol
But hey, if Apex hired me to kill Kaiju... I'd do it, and I'd do it well. Fighting dirty doesn't exist between monsters. I'd have to become a monster too!
