Palm Sunday is the same as the citizen waving the national flags linesup by the road sides to welcome their country king of his visit.

Jesus, rode into town with his buddies. Up for trouble, proved by His actions on Monday, kicked over the crooked money changers tables, and used a whip on them...we Need him back, if only for the money men! I love Holy week, Judas giving Jesus the kiss of death, Peter, denying his friend three times before the cock crowed. I love Holy week. Do others take themselves back, and imagine the situation? Tell me, and peace be unto you.

Amazing how God loves us, when we are so unworthy.

Why do Christians name "Palm Sun-day" after the "sun" and not the "Sun"?
You mention "Holy Week" and then "Passover Week" but are they the same thing?
Passover was a holy "Appointed Time" ("moed") set in place by God and observed by Yeshua (later re-named "Jesus" by the Gentiles), very different to the man-made Roman "Easter," named after a pagan fertility goddess, hence the symbols of eggs and rabbits for fertility. I don't ses the terms "Holy Week" or "Easter" in the Scriptures, never mind days named after sun worship.

The significance of the celebration is most Important.
Jesus rose and roared from an empty tomb. The awesome distinction between the Christian faith and others.

@@ephramevezi48 I agree 100% ! That's why I am concerned that Christians make SO MUCH of what day it happened on by creating a holy day called Sunday. The actual day doesn't matter.
