You meant something like “Norton Ghost”? I never try before , I suggest full format is better

When the firmware is inside the pendrive it will auto boot
But I followed the same procedure with 4 different hard disk, yet I had harddisk format error. Is it the case that there are specific harddisks for canon?
May I know the capacity of your hard drive ? I tried 80GB/120GB/160GB before, it’s work

If I followed your steps , the machine will install the system automaticly after HDD replacement , also is it must to connect internet ?!
My canon 5250 prints well but my screen panel is off.
I changed the panel but it's still off
Do check the connector , please make sure all is connect properly, if panel still off… it might be main controller problem

Try check the SATA cables, if still cannot try using bigger capacity hard disk , something more than 160GB

But I need to pleas You for help because I need ALL STUFF to create proper USB pendrive to FORMAT & INSTALL FW/SW into thne new HDD directly on printer.
I have printer CANON imageRUNNER ADVANCE C3520i III
I have error on display E602-0201
I have printers HDD out but UNREADABLE under Linux, Win nor macOS (for backu/clone)
I have another HDD prepared and formatted as FAT32/GUID connected in printer
BUT I DONT HAVE "USB tools" to newly format new HDD and againt run the Printer.
Please can you send me thoose files and info in wich format and setup to put on USBpendrive to be able to finish the procedure?

Hi Sir, thank you for your comment, e602-0201 could be operating system error or hard disk drive. My suggestion is swap a same model hard disk into your machine and see it can boot or not. Sorry that I can’t give more info about IR ADV C3520i as I never do a format before it( I have no experience with this)

How to solve E000602-0020 error on Canon, got this error just after printing. The printer has no keypad, only touch screen. The error is shown on the screen and stuck,please help
It seems to be hard disk or software problem
E602-0200 -00 Title Hard disk error
Remedy 1. Check the Cable and Power Connector.
2. If the measures above do not solve the problem, start up in Safe Mode to perform All Format using SST and reinstall the system (SYSTEM, LANGUAGE, RUI), and then turn OFF and then ON the main power.
3. If the error still remains, it can be caused by HDD failure;
therefore, replace the HDD and reinstall the system.

@@theophelouscele7219 you meant the touch screen panel is not functioning ? If yes, try swap another function-able touch screen panel into your machine , please refer tutorial below :

hey brother can you send me the firmware files for 50/52 series .becuase every time i have the error i use to take hard disk from other machine and install .if get this firmware it can be a permenant fix and able to use my the hdd less machine
Yeah, it used to be the common way for me too (swap harddisk) you may request the firmware file from your supplier
