Hello Friends,
This is the enhanced version of the Annual Leave tracker. In this version, we have added a VBA user form to mark the leave for multiple dates in one go. We have also added the optional to mark the half-day Leave. You can use this template to track the leave for the different employees in monthly and annual views.

Thank you for this template. I learned a lot. I just want to check if we can add a function to limit the number of employees who apply leave in day. Also, it would be good to skip the weekends and public holidays on the day count. Hoping to get a response! Thanks again!

This is great. Can you please advise how to not include weekends and public holidays? As when it does it adds these as days off?
This is amazing!!! one question, how to get total days consumed by an employee. For ex. In my company, employees are entitled for 30 days leave in an year. So if someone took more than the entitled days, how to find it? if someone took 40 days this year, for next year his entitlement should be only 20 days. How to make such leave tracker?
Why use the method of repeating vacation days in the "Mark Leave" sheet? Adding a "Helper" column with the end date might help, reducing the number of input lines. You can also include a "Print Detailed Report" for an employee or print a "Detailed Report during a specific period"

Hi PK I'm new to VBA and don't know much so I loved this and was trying to use and adapt it to use myself, but running into a problem. I wanted to do a reverse of the user form where when someone opens the form the first combo box is the one they can get a drop down of their name and then the second one automatically fills their ID Number. I've tried everything to reverse the code but lost because I want the exact same thing only instead of the user picking the ID first I wanted them to pick their name as they may not know their ID Number.

Excellent, PK. Kindly inform how to get it to omit Saturdays, Sundays and holidays if the leave taken extends over weekends
You can use networkdays while calculating the days. I will consider this in the next version.

How about if i have a excel and leave tracker already and I wanted to get a summary of leave of emp including the date and type of leave in one excel how can i do that
good one, one observation: instead reflecting employee ID in dropdown, you should be showing employee name. no one remember IDs but name

Like we have 3shifts operation
8am-2pm day shift
2pm-10pm night shift
10pm-8am midnight shift

Good work.But how will you differentiate saturday and Sunday. I think it will mark as leave even if u put sunday's date as well. Ideally it shouldn't allow to mark as leave Saturday and Sunday.

Good System, I found it be very slow and resource hungry though, Also i think the employee ID and employee name should be reversed, it is easy to remember employee's name than ID

When i add name in monthly summary ,then moving to "mark leave" for test , it's stuck when choosing that name!!
Great as always PK! Can we add the leave entitlements and allow employees to apply for the amount they are entitled to? Any extra taken shall be deducted from their salaries. For example, ABC is entitled to 10 Annual Leave, she already availed 5 and the remaining balance is 5 days. But she comes with another request of 6 days, we can grant her 5 Annual Leave and 1-day unpaid leave.
Also, when employees cannot take their leaves during the year, we should transfer the available balance or at least a portion of the available balance to the next year automatically.

Hi sir how to do the leave application form
there is some issues to be mentioned to be rectified,
1. you cant enter the employee number, instead you just select from drop-down list
2. when you enter the emp number it will give you his leave balance and history that how much and which leave he used
In employee I'd drop down menu we have to choose I'd if employee are more than it is time taking for data entry can u get that we can type IDs

Always nice to learn!!! one request - if we would like mark leaves, starting from Friday till Monday, it captures 4 days however SAT & SUN are Weekly off so technically should add 2 days leaves, is there any way to consider Weekly offs to exclude while marking leaves? Also, could we incorporate list of Public Holidays so that they also populate automatically for given month as applicable?

I need my list box in VBA to display the columns from right to left, but the number of cells in Excel is large, and when I run VBA, my list box displays from left to right, and I want to see the first columns. I have to scroll from the right side, what should I do to fix this problem, please help me. Also, I aligned the list box to the right in the form settings, but it didn't help.

Hi.. I hope someone reply how to fix this.. So instead of employee ID if i have their first letter of their first and last name in their employee ID field.. it says "run time error 13"
i think it only wants to have numbers in that column not letters. is there a way to change this?
in code you can delete Cln funcion and try this
it is great but, there is no way to understand the employee's available leaves, while you enter the employee ID and then select the type of leave, it will show how much leave he has available.

If you are using Employee id as text, then you don't need to use "Clng" in the code.

sir mujhe lagta hai.ki agar isme pivot table ki madat li jaye to vba + pivot se aur powerful leave record software ban sakta hai.. pivot se kya hai ki.. employee wise.. branch wise... hight leave wise.. without pay wise..year wise report hum show kara sakte hai....to isme yeh sub karo.. aur bahot important baat ki hum year wise data save kar sake.. agar last year all employee ka leave data dekhna ho to woh bhi aa jaye.. mere kehna hai ki har year closing ho gai to leave data save ho jaye..jo bhi sal ya month ka data dekhna ho to dekhne aa jaye?
