- Although I've been using default options from the first day playing this game, this lighting issue has been bothering me so much.
Now I found a fix.
"REEEE U CAN SHOOT THE LIGHT" some might say - wasting bullet is a treason. Shoot bugs and bots threatening the managed democracy. - เกม
I'd rather shoot da lamp. Builds character, and shows that those bots are next 🤖 💀

yeah its great for aim training too. i love when like 10 come on and I try to kill the light as quickly as possible
The lamps are just an extension of the bots. They're family.

I love how this game just has it for fun while cod's like nooo it's too hard to code shootable lights for our exclusively nighttime maps

@@palasta you can shoot a few but not all of them like you can in helldivers. It's irritating, playing indoors with nods would be a lot more fun if you could shoot the lights out.

The devs should add an hyper mode for the volumetric fog quality. Bright as hell, and every time a light turns on, your character will yell: „SWEET LIBERTY, MY EYES!!!”

@@Aisyren_Official Glows red with bloom, especially helpful if it's in a harder to see spot. Red dot opposed to glowing red dot. Either way people still run into mines lol.

i always thought it was on purpose. And the light is supposed to blind you from enemies. So I just shoot them down. Lol

I would turn down the volumetrics if it didn't make the smoke and fog look so bad.
I think you're good as long as bloom is off. Try just lowering your brightness on your monitor.

turning the volumetric fog all the way down would decrease the quality of the bombs explosion. alot of developers use fog to emulate an explosion.
I melee the ones on the ground. Cool tip. The bigger the weapon, the easier to smash them. Laser Cannon smacks them no problem. Sidearm, miss all day lol. Stealth is a thing in the game, so I just expect that if I’m under a bright light it’s easier for them to see me. Just makes sense.

The comments below make me feel better that I too, also prefer the lights being on and then being angry at it and shooting it out because that is exactly what I would do IRL

Visual impairment is by design, to a point. Turn it down, but maybe not ALL the way.

I always though this made on purpose for you to shoot those lights on sight
for me that fog is sometimes several times worse, i can not even see the source of the light as the half screen is completely white if i look up under such lamp.
Its not like i have messed up gamma setting on purpose, other graphics/visibility are all good, only this lamp ....
"Bloom" option also affects this.
Any got a fix for ps5 cause I don't got a graphics tab.

But the fog effects will look bad now. With how much fog there is in this game, that's a setting I personally don't wanna lower too much

Nah the bloom gives the illusion of a dusty war torn atmosphere, hence the bloom because of the gross bug or auto air. I’ll leave it alone

what else does that take away though? I assume the fog on some foggy maps. not the spores that completely blind you, but like, just ambient fog? Maybe even most of the spore tree fog too idk.
