I haven’t cleaned my instrument since I have got it and I’ve had it for about 3 years so the build up was crazy but this guide made it so easy. W guide
ok wow this was really helpful for me! i haven't cleaned my trumpet in a while so thanks for this vid :D
i usually boil my tuba mouthpiece to really clean it
I haven’t cleaned mine in awhile💀 I should probably go clean it now
@@AdrianSaenzj293lol
@@AdrianSaenzj293that's literally why I'm watching this lol
i cant tell is this is satire or not lol
@@Red40-is-tasty it's not, boiling is the best way to get tid of all bacteria and it doesn't damage the mouthpiece.
That’s a nice trumpet by the way, my school just got 11 brand new ones just like that
Congrats!
One of those drum corps memories hat is so bizarre was cleaning day. Imagine a random highschool locker room shower full of n@ked dudes and bugles. Two valve, yes I am that old. Still enjoy your vids.
How often should I go through this whole process?
You think that trumpet’s overdue? My tuning slides _won’t come off._
I would HIGHLY recommend not using Palmolive. It's not good for the instruments. Dawn is much more gentle.
Really hoping this works on my pocket trumpet
I forgot I have a bass clarinet. But I have my sackbut so no issue
I assume this could work with any brass instrument right? Not just trumpet
Pretty much, just make sure pads and what not, just do a Google search if you don't know
DO NOT DO THIS ON A FRENCH HORN
@@linctheduck3886 Why not? Is it something to do with the fact it has Rotary valves?
I literally looked this up because I can literally taste past meals whenever I play my trumpet…..
Literally.
How do I fix the trumpet if the furthest away slide thing on a trumpet isn't coming off
It’s stuck because you haven’t greased it enough. It gets stuck badly when you don’t grease it and it can damage your trumpet insanely bad. If it’s really stuck you have to get it fixed.
if oil the slude and you put a rag in between the slide and pull it can come off
What about Bach trumpets is it okay to use windex on it
ive used it on my strad and have had 0 issues
In believe in one of his Yt shorts he said Yamaha actually recommends it
@@scrblrl3327 Thank you for the feedback.
do you think this will work for a trombone?
WHY IS THERE BLACK MOLD IN THE BOTTOM OF MY VALVE CAPS???
HAHHAHA REALL
Fr
Just cover the tip of a pencil with a paper towel and fish it out
Fr I can’t get it out either

Just curious, is it normal for my Bach blessing 3c mouth piece to turn blue? Not kidding I’m actually worried. 🥲
What?
It may be a bit radioactive but playable😊
It's not Bach at all, it's Blessing. It's cheaper than Bach because it is made with cheaper materials, hence you have problems like oxidation that turn it blue
