This...I'm already theorizing but I think Elsewhere represents Hollywood or LA. They go there trying to find success and fun but instead are shunned for not resembling the other acts until someone decides to take them and completely change their appearance and identity to make them more appealing to their crowd. I'm definetly feeling an "Artist VS Business" motif for this album. They're a "skeleton" because they're allowing others to project their ideas onto them as if they're nothing more than a base.

You know, I've been adoring this band for a long time and for the next, probably more than a billion times, I'm convinced that this band and their songs are something higher and beautiful. I admire their songs and videos every time, it's truly great. Set It Off you are the best!
yk i thought about it and for me, this song is about going from a toxic relationship into a new one. - "Skin and bones, vulnerable" could show that the past toxic relationship consumed him and made him weak. - "Crack my ribs and make me whole" could mean he is asking the new partner to make him new again, to give him love and affection to heal his wounds. - "A silhouette is following just waiting to bring me down" could mean that the memories from the old toxic relationship haunt him and still affect him. - "i had it good, thats what I get, i guess that its my turn now" could mean that either the universe is sending bad things (heartbreak and stuff like that) towards him because u cant only have good things happening to u in life, either that he used to break hearts and play people and now those things come back to him, like karma - "cut the wires, tangled, twisted, to find me again" could mean that while in the toxic relationship, he built a "shell" around him to protect him from the negativity of his partner and the new partner has to offer him affection and respect for him to break out of the shell and be able to love again - "fix my head, stitch my soul, find out where it all went wrong" could mean he is asking his new partner to help him find out what he did wrong in the past relationship so he could understand that and not do it again - "a blinding pain behind my eyes is covering up the truth" could mean that he also hurt his ex partner and the rage he feels because they broke up makes him forget that he damaged his partner's heart too - "inside my brain's a parasite it's telling me what to do" could show his bad memories from the past toxic relationship make him think he shouldn't get into another relationship because he is scared of another heartbreak - "feeding on my happiness like I never deserved it at all" could show that the bad memories overwhelmed his brain and he cant remember any good memories and that makes him think that he didn't treat his ex well enough - "I project pain with the frame that I maintain" could show that the toxic relationship affected him so much he decided to become heartless and not fall in love again therefore hurting other people - "Making such a mess, it's getting permanently Painted in my head, and there's no going back" could show that the damage created by his toxic ex is so serious it affected him permanently and he will never forget what his ex did to him sorry if I offended anyone by what I wrote above (especially Cody, Maxx or Zach, sorry if u guys took what I wrote personally, I didn't mean it), and sorry for the grammar mistakes. the colors were honestly so unexpected to me - especially since i’ve been a fan of them as a band for a long time - but i surprisingly liked it as the video progressed. i wasn’t used to the brightness because they typically don’t do that, yes they use colors, like blue, from time to time but i really enjoyed the vibe of this one. also cody’s rap is just pure perfection.
I introduced my younger brother to Set It Off today and he said you all have a modern broadway vibe (Think Be More Chill). He really likes you, and so do I! Thanks for giving me and my brother something to bond over 🥰
This song really spoke to me as a masked autistic. My life is full of emotional and sensory pain whenever I need to get out of my home, with layers and layers of conditioned behaviour and unhealthy coping mechanisms. When I was a kid I had to break myself down and reshape into something more acceptable by society to the point where I don’t even know what I am, and hiding my own emotions is just something that’s been carved into my mind, I always feel like I’m not good enough and don’t deserve the help I receive because I’m too much of a burden, and I don’t know how to express how much I’m going through and what I need in ways that would sound genuine and get me help. I’m really susceptible to being pressured into something, although I’ve been working on boundaries because I have went through a time when I took on too much and completely shut down emotionally. On top of all that, I have to keep up a energetic and friendly front to appeal to others out of necessity to get through my days. Every line from this song resonates with me which is a bit unfortunate

I want to say it was about 2019 when my daughter got me hooked most day SIO is all I listen to, my granddaughter tries to sing The Haunting and my now 9-month-old sometimes will only go to sleep listening to Maxx's drum play throughs.
This is so frecking cool! The colors are pleasing (to me, at least-) and for some reason, unsettling too. (Maybe it's unsettling because they look like they're being changed against their will, even tho Maxx was vibing -dancing- with the Devil on that part) Like, Idk, the color scheme is just really cool, Cody being green and pink, Zach being blue and yellow, then Maxx being -A carrot- -The Joker- orange and green. It's just really colorful, cool and bright. I found myself liking it a lot. (Which is weird because I normally don't like bright colors clashing together) And the flashback to the Dancing With The Devil music video. I really don't know if y'all are hiding a story that connect the two music videos in there, or if is that thing of "someone taking them, changing their appearance and identity to make them appealing" that often happens with bands. You know, I've been adoring this band for a long time and for the next, probably more than a billion times, I'm convinced that this band and their songs are something higher and beautiful. I admire their songs and videos every time, it's truly great. Set It Off you are the best!
yk i thought about it and for me, this song is about going from a toxic relationship into a new one.
- "Skin and bones, vulnerable" could show that the past toxic relationship consumed him and made him weak.
- "Crack my ribs and make me whole" could mean he is asking the new partner to make him new again, to give him love and affection to heal his wounds.
- "A silhouette is following just waiting to bring me down" could mean that the memories from the old toxic relationship haunt him and still affect him.
- "i had it good, thats what I get, i guess that its my turn now" could mean that either the universe is sending bad things (heartbreak and stuff like that) towards him because u cant only have good things happening to u in life, either that he used to break hearts and play people and now those things come back to him, like karma
- "cut the wires, tangled, twisted, to find me again" could mean that while in the toxic relationship, he built a "shell" around him to protect him from the negativity of his partner and the new partner has to offer him affection and respect for him to break out of the shell and be able to love again

the colors were honestly so unexpected to me - especially since i’ve been a fan of them as a band for a long time - but i surprisingly liked it as the video progressed. i wasn’t used to the brightness because they typically don’t do that, yes they use colors, like blue, from time to time but i really enjoyed the vibe of this one. also cody’s rap is just pure perfection.

This song really spoke to me as a masked autistic. My life is full of emotional and sensory pain whenever I need to get out of my home, with layers and layers of conditioned behaviour and unhealthy coping mechanisms. When I was a kid I had to break myself down and reshape into something more acceptable by society to the point where I don’t even know what I am, and hiding my own emotions is just something that’s been carved into my mind, I always feel like I’m not good enough and don’t deserve the help I receive because I’m too much of a burden, and I don’t know how to express how much I’m going through and what I need in ways that would sound genuine and get me help. I’m really susceptible to being pressured into something, although I’ve been working on boundaries because I have went through a time when I took on too much and completely shut down emotionally. On top of all that, I have to keep up a energetic and friendly front to appeal to others out of necessity to get through my days. Every line from this song resonates with me which is a bit unfortunate

The colors are pleasing (to me, at least-) and for some reason, unsettling too. (Maybe it's unsettling because they look like they're being changed against their will, even tho Maxx was vibing -dancing- with the Devil on that part)
Like, Idk, the color scheme is just really cool, Cody being green and pink, Zach being blue and yellow, then Maxx being -A carrot- -The Joker- orange and green. It's just really colorful, cool and bright. I found myself liking it a lot.
