Upper Caste has taken reservation for 500 years and Wealth (Land etc) that Upper Caste Have after Independence. Upper Caste people never talk about this.
Upper castes have also contributed the most to this country, majority of our freedom fighter were savarna, majority of our soldiers and martyrs are savarnas & we are the highest tax paying community and we take no govt benefits. And tell me about the contributions of your community? The income tax collected from upper castes is used by the govt to make free homes, give free rations and education to SC STs. Why not talk about this.

Root cause is casteism. "Every action has an equal and opposite reaction". Once there was a time when there were no access of education,clean water, higher job to such people. There were practice of untouchability and discrimination on the basis of caste etc. Now also in many region, it is practiced. I myself can see this in my society. In rural areas it happens at extream level.
B. R Ambedakar had reached higher position on his own while going through inequality and exploitation. He had a very tough time to even access the education and then he used such power to bring revolution against inequality on the basis of caste.
Demolish inequality on the basis of caste, then demolish reservation. It is illogical to discriminate on the basis of caste. Why certain group of people is called "lower caste" or "upper caste" just because their ancestors were engaged in certain job.

I just imagine, if all of us think this way, this caste system and reservation would go easily. But unfortunately, most of us don't carry such thoughts..

आपकी बात से सहमत हूं कन्हैया जी। पर क्या आरक्षण की प्रक्रिया को गतिशील नहीं बनाया जा सकता। जैसे कि किसी परिवार के 2-4 पीढियो तक इसका लाभ प्राप्त कर लेने के बाद उस परिवार को सामान्य वर्ग का मान लिया जाए। क्युकी ऐसी किसी व्यवस्था के आभाव में दलित हमेशा दलित ही रहा आएगा।जोकि आरक्षण की मूल भावना के विरुद्ध होगा।
अप्पक विचार उत्तम है लेकिन क्या सामान्य वर्ग के लोग उसे सामान्य मानेगें। दलित वर्ग के लोग चाहे IAS ही क्यों न हों लेकिन कोई सामान्य वर्ग का व्यक्ति अपनी बेटी या बेटे का विवाह केवल इस बात करने से इनकार कर देगा कि वह दलित वर्ग का है।
हैं उस दिन यह आरक्षण स्वत ही समाप्त हो जाएगा जा युवा स्व विवेक से अंतर्जातीय विवाह करने में संकोच नही करेंगे।

पांडे जी, आप असल प्रोब्लम नही पकड़ पा रहे है, जिस दिन इस देश में हर कामयाब इंसान हर गरीब, पिछड़ा और दलित के लिए सामाजिक पूंजी हो जाएगा उस दिन किसी भी टाइप को आरक्षण (जाति आधार पे या आर्थिक आधार) का जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगा। यहां ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रिय, वैश्य, शुद्र सबका अपना अपना सामाजिक पूंजी है। अब यहां जिसका सामाजिक पूंजी कम है उसको आरक्षण देना ही पड़ेगा वरना समाज विकलांग हो जाएगा।

पांडे जी, मैं कोरोना के टाइम AIIMS में ड्यूटी पे था और मैंने एक अजीब चीज देखा। चुकी AIIMS में किसी को बिना पैरवी के सीट नहीं मिल रही थी, मैंने देखा 90 पर्सेंट केस में जो भर्ती के लिए आ रहा था वो कही ना कही अपने जाति मंत्री, विधायक या सांसद या IAS IPS, ke पैरवी से आ रहा था। तब मुझे इस बात का अहसास हुआ जी आज भी सामाजिक पूंजी हर जाति का अलग अलग है । दलित का सामाजिक पूंजी कम है तो एक दो ही लोग आ पा रहे थे।
