Great figure. I've got some tiny Decepticon stickers which look good on the missiles. Odd that yours is grey where mine's white. They both look fanastic, it's just odd. I've not seen a company make such a change between batches of a release before. I suppose the grey is more accurate, Metagate listened to the fans and changed it. They did a similar improvement with the first run's feet in car mode, changing the engineering just before mass production, to hide them better. The thing is that the plastic packaging had already been made, so the figures were sent out mistransformed, in the unimproved state. That led to a bit of confusion, but eventually relief when it was clear what they'd done. All to make the figure as good as possible. Good company, I'm really looking forward to their Dropkick. 5:15 True, often weapon storage looks out of place. My newest figure (TMT-01 Cybertronian Bumblebee Movie Bumblebee) manages to incorporate the hammer really well. I recommend that figure as highly as Red Fantasy here.
I recall the improvement to the feet. In all honesty, I wouldn’t have been upset even if they left the white paint, but the fact that they went and changed the color based on fan feedback so early is a really good sign. I legitimately think Metagate shows a great deal of promise. I am on the fence between the TMT and CE-01 Bumblebee, and leaning towards the CE mainly for its earth based mode to match MM-01. I did find a CE-01 on my journey in Hong Kong, but it was used being sold as-is with no accessories, which killed the deal for me.
@@fcfinch8931 I fiercely refuse to pay so much for the Magnificent Mecha 'upgrade kit', so he's my Earth mode BBM Prime which goes with my CE-01. I have Tactics Waistcoat (Toy World) Freedom Leader in Cybertronian mode to go with my TMT-01. I got CE-02 Cliffjumper from Bababobo for only £60 recently, that's $75. I know it's red (it's Cliffjumper- duh), but for that price I couldn't say no.
Some of the engineering that went into this is is impressive. Fitting 3 good looking modes into it is no easy task. Cant wait to see how Dropkick comes out.
