Gracias Paula. Mi ejemplo: No sabía que llevaba los pantalones sucios pero una señora amable me lo advirtió en la parada de autobus. Entonces volví a la casa y me cambié. El problema es que me fui de la casa muy tarde y llegué a la oficina después que la reunión había empezado. Mi jefe estuvo esperándome por quince minutos, pero no pudo esperarme más. Por lo menos tuve tiempo de oir la conclusión de la reunión.

Esta fue un buen praticar para mi. I already knew all the words but never practiced them in these three tenses like this. So it was a really good review. It will also be good for me to go back and review the early vidios you have made about these important verbs.

It will be much more useful if you actually translate the example sentences you are using. No point giving us an example on how to use the verb if we cannot understand what the sentence is actually saying. Different dictionaries on google are translating the sentences in different ways.
