The AC sensor on your thermostat is located near the evaporator coils. Indoor air moving toward the return vents passes by the sensor and coils. In turn, the sensor reads the temperature and checks if it matches what you've set on the thermostat

Step 2: Reinstall the electrical connector
Step 3: Reinstall the negative battery cable
How do I fix my AC remote sensor?
If you've ruled out that the remote is faulty reset the system by turning it off at the main power, and leaving it off for about 30 minutes. If the problem persists once you have turned the power on again, we recommend you book a service so a technician can run a diagnostic check of the system
