Thank you for posting about the D3200 in 2023, we don't all have the latest and greatest camera, but still can be a great artist
Well done, I too am happy to use a D3200 in 2023 with its kit lens. Let's remember how many famous photographers have produced masterpieces with cameras that are technically more behind this one. Don't worry about the instrument and go outside to take pictures! :-)
@@michelevanellawhat lenses would u recommend videoing on this camera
@@landonsmith3346 I don't really know, I use this camera mainly for photos with the kit 18-55 vr ii , 35 1.8 and 55-200 vr
Do you still use this camera now? If you do I'd appreciate if you could tell me if youd still recommended considering buying it in 2024
@@vampirebynight If you can't or don't want to spend so much on my experience it's an excellent machine that will certainly not disappoint you especially used with more performing goals but already with those kits it's fine. Is there anything better? Of course, but if you find a used one with a few shots at a good price, don't worry. Good luck!
I’m another one of those blowing the dust off my camera bag and attempting to learn to use this camera that I bought about 8 years ago. Thanks for the video!
Same here😂😊
Same here
Have owned this camera for 8 years. But been so intimidated by it. Watched this video & im learning to use this piece of art. Looooove my camera. Thank you for taking so much time to explain everything in such detail.
Good Luck with your experience with the Nikon D3200. Had mine for a while working with it again. It's great.
Thomas from Kansas city
Thank you for this! I’m 25 and I want to start doing something more creative. I feel like I’m in a rut and just not being who I want to be or Can be. I’ve had my Nikon for 5+ years but never use it. It’s intimidating. But this video helped a lot. I’m going to start shooting and hopefully will lead to other things and get my creative juices flowing 🙏🏽
The best thing to do it just go out and shoot! I’m glad the video helped 😃
I am just getting into photography. How is the progress man
25 still young. I am 47 just gonna step in DSLR.
Thank for your sharing
Thanks a million for your thorough explanation of the shooting of d3200. This is the ONLY video that has helped me understand in 3 years.
I’m a professional photographer and I absolutely love this camera for the price point. It’s a great camera for anyone looking to up their game. One thing it’s not good for is videos, so I wouldn’t get it for like vlogging or anything like that.
I just brought one yesterday with a sigma 170-500mm lens for 200.00
I just bought this camera yesterday as my first photography equipment since my budget is almost lowest. And I found your video! This video is so comfortable and I love your style! Thanks for your help in the beginning of my photography journey!
Allow me this idea: YOu can reproduce this kind of video tutorial and add some picture examples when you go through the settings. For example, you can show one picture with 100 iso and then the same with 800 iso, and so on. So we can get a deeper feeling of what each setting is about
I guess that’s how WE are supposed to learn!
My father bought this camera 10 frickin years ago and I know so many others are fortunate but I have to say… thank you! I’m learning to use this thing properly and keep my passion going! 🤘🏼
basic settings, quickly & professionally delivered, perfect for a beginner
Just got a new-to-me Nikon D3200 for my first photo venture, this tutorial was super helpful as a complete beginner!
Many thanks for explaining these settings to someone who finds instructions very difficult . very easy to follow .
Picking one of these up in a couple of days with an extra long telephoto lens. It will be my first camera. Watching the videos about it is getting me hyped 😊
Thanks buddy. This video made my life easier now to learn about my DSRL sleeping for 3 years.
Keep doing the great work. Regards.
Thanks bro. I have this beauty for 10 years now n never really explored much. Now its our time to shine
Thank you! I bought the D3200 because of your recommendation! This video was made for me... I will walk through this video with you when my camera comes in the mail tomorrow!!
I’m not going to explain iso and then gives the people a real quick explanation. What a legend
I'm surprised you don't have more subs. I am just looking at photography stuff for fun and most of the yt vids are irritating AF in this field. It is nice to come across an actual person giving solid info instead of listening to obvious automated bs. I figured there would be S tonnes of actual people doing reviews and informative content, but I guess not. Great job dude. Thanks
Thanks so much!
Oh my gosh, BEST short, sweet and to the point tutorial! I learned more from this tutorial than anywhere! Thank you!!!!!!
Just pulled this camera out of my closet after a few years. This was great to get settings in a good place to start.
Dude! I was soo lost and I'm glad I found this tutorial because it's been extremely helpful so thank you for breaking everything down!!
Thank you,i just bought a the 3200, and had no idea where to start. im excited to capture awesome nature and portraits really soon and continue practicing.
This video really helped me understand how to actually take pictures
what lens are you using for D3200? can you show some pictures? Also can you do a video what lenses are compatible with D3200
Thank you so much for this video. I am taking basic photography class and its a 3 credit class online. I need to pass this class so your video help me learn how to use my camera.
Thank you so much! This really helped me a lot. I've had this camera for a while now, and I just haven't taken the time to learn the settings. This helps with the basics.
JUST AN FYI FOR IOS USERS, if you have a dongle thing that you can plug into your phone and transfer photos from your SD card, you cannot do RAW… you must do JPEG.. or else it’ll be super pixelated, I’m glad i goofed around before doing an actual photoshoot and finding this out, This video is still very helpful!
Presents a very understandable and usable explanation of the Nikon D3200.
I started with the D3300 Nikon before changing. I found that I could get some pretty good shots with the camera.
The D3300 is great! What did you upgrade to?
So happy to see a tutorial for this camara! I was about to buy a new one
I appreciate the time you put on this. Your clear explanation helped me a lot with understanding my camera. New subscriber👋
Very well done, Adam. Just the right length and depth of information.
Thanks!
I just got one and trying to figure it out I wanted to take mono pic but noticed its coming blurry there a sigma 18 to 200 mm lense on it and also what setting was the camera on at the start of video ?
This video has helped so much. Camera ain’t so daunting now haha.
Very helpful and informative, thank you. I've just bought this camera and can't wait to use it 😊
This was amazing for a beginner like me. Thank you!
The nikon d3200 is a beast... Thanks for the video friend!!!!!
Very informative and easy to follow
that was more useful than what i expect. thanks a lot
great video, thank you.
any idea for the right settings to shoot some sportphotos (cycling)?
Awesome video! Great explanations & samples of use. Great job.
Thank you for all info on settings. Will continue to follow.
Question… I’m adjusting my settings as you go along and my camera will not let me adjust a few settings. It states on the screen “this option is not available at current settings or in the cameras current state.” What does this typically mean? Thank you
Thank you for that detailed explanation!
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SUBSCRIBED WITH A BIG THUMBS UP!!!!!!!!! Saved me a 3 hour trip to photographers studio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you very much, I'm a beginner, this will help me a lot
I’m watching this to see if I can pickup any tips for my 3200 I just picked up, I noticed in image size settings you mentioned no reason to go lower than the largest image size. I’m wondering if the camera will just crop the sensor image, or if it will pixel bin. Either way I appreciate the video and the tips that stem from it!
thank you so much! i’ve been wanting to find something really good 😊
I’m glad it helped you out!
Newbie here…with the direct sunlight option, do you keep it there for indoor photos as well? Probably one of the silliest questions I have yet to ask. lol
Thanks you was a big help I had no idea how to use this camera great video
Yep that really helped. Many thanks from the UK
Great tutorial! Just what I needed to refresh my knowledge. Thanks!
This was my intro camera to photography!
Huge help, thank you. I have purchased a D7500, way more camera than I have a clue to operate. But I want to take good quality photos of quilts. Will I need to set it as portrait settings? I also want to shoot close up details.
Thank you, this was very helpful!!! :)
this is insanely helpful!
Thank you for this video. 😊 it was really helpful
Maybe I missed it..but are you adjusting the settings while in the Manual mode? Thanks man!!
I reset my camera & I don’t know the reason it seems like some options are not available 😭
Lots of love and happiness from INDIA 💫💖
This was such well done and helpful video. Quick question for the AF-area mode section. I got the message: "this option is not available at current settings or in the camera's current state." I was able to follow along completely for the rest of the tutorial. This was my only hiccup. Any suggestions on what I can do to be able to adjust it?
Had the same issue. To solve the issue, change the mode switch from AUTO to Mode P (Programmed Auto).
Thank you for the wonderful tutorial.
Learnt a lot for your video.
Keep up the good work.
I have had this camera for so many years but never got to really using it properly 😊
Is this good for photographing the moon at night possibly over the ocean or over landscape??
thanks for this, I bought one recently and must say I cant wai to try it out. Please suggest a video or link me up to other vides you made on different lenses that I can use for the 3200 if there are any
This video was a great help. Just got mine the other day. Thank you!
I just got one of these with a broken flash for $220 AUD (About $150). It came with a lens too. I'm going to use my old Nikkor 18-105 DX lens with it though.
That's a nice tutorial 😊
Thank you for this video. Any recommendations on what lenses to use for outdoor photography. A relative gave me this camera with Nikon lenses and I am going to use it for baseball games for my son’s team
Thank you for some more tips I know from this video
Thank you. You were great
Enjoyed your video. Love to see one on the nikon d90.

Sir, can I use the Nikon 50mm 1.8g prime lens for travel photography, I have a Nikon 3200 with an 18-55 kit lens.Thank you.
What are settings for portrait photo with 18- 55 mm lens
For some reason all my photos are really dark even in bright light, but when I switch to any mode besides M,A,S, and P it’s fine
Helpful, as regards to D3200 Camera setting.

Great vid. Very helpful
Thank you for explaining. This is my learner camera
this was great! Thank you!
Thank you so much for these informations.. really helpful👍🏻
Well explained! Thanks!
Thanks, I had this camera for years but have left it parked for a few years now. Your guide will help me improve my landscape photos. I need to learn Photoshop though. It confuses me.
Thank you, youre the best!
What is a good editing software you recommend?
great video, which lens you are using buddy?
Thank you! Very helpful
Hi Adam, best explanation I've seen 👍😀 Can I check 2 things... To put top dial on 'Auto,' that's the 'A' between 'M, A, S, P...' (NOT 'Auto with the camera icon' )? Is that right?
Secondly would you recommend setting to 'A' auto (instead of 'M' manual) on the zoom ring itself?
Hope you're able to reply soon (I'm hoping to use it tomorrow 😛) No worries if not, thanks! 😊
Hi, the A on the top dial is for Aperture priority! Not Auto! The Auto function is the green camera icon. If you shoot in Manual mode "M" you can set the knob on the lens to "M" for manual focusing
Great work thanks!
