The sentiments are the same as a Sunni Muslim would feel. Like the sister said that we should we feel like we’ve lost one of our own. However, I just don’t like how bodily harm is inflicted amongst the Shias. Our body is a sacred gift from Allah swt and we can’t even put a tattoo on it - let alone harm it. However, if there’s a difference of opinion- I would love for someone to share knowledge. Thanks
Regarding tattoos, there is no specific Hadith that states yes or no, rather tattoos are not haram but makroo. For it to be haram it must scar and damage your skin permanently and stop the path of wudhu, but tattoos are ink that is stained under the skins bottom layer
