The interviewer was double checking on what Selen had replied, because Chinese Apex community refers to "zone" as 圈{juān}, which means ring or circle (that is probably why Maria called it "ring").

For #3: Just a quick thought: I agree that's a possibility, but I also wonder if Selen heard the question correctly but is used to responding in English to her parents when they speak Cantonese to her. I know a few Asian-Americans who do that, so it wouldn't surprise me if Selen does it too.

@@misterplane5488 I thought about that possibility too, but her reply was coming from [2] question soon after. I didn’t do much edit other than cutting cut filler words and I couldn’t locate which question Selen was answering during the edit on [3]
I could be wrong too since I started the edit as soon as this stream was over, so I barely slept and probably missing out some info. Thanks for sharing different sides of perspective!
