How’d they get here?
There were 577 dogs who went to Zones (held just before World). Of that, 108 annually receive the nod to attend the first night of the UKC Coonhound World Championship. From that, just 27 winners are eligible to advance. Next, round three accepts only 9 of those 27. By the Final Cast, we are down to three dogs only. The dogs featured here are the final three who made it through the entire weekend and hunted it off on Saturday, September 21, 2024, in a 120-minute showdown. Meet the final cast!
First up (placed third overall) - NITE CH 'PR' Ficken's Backwoods Fergie, with owner Randy Ficken
Second interview (placed second overall) - GRNITECH(2) 'PR' Spring River Joe, owned by Vic Hurley, and Braxton Wills (featured).
Third interview (our World Champion!) - GRNITECH(2) 'PR' Little Lacy, owned by Jack Maggard, handled by Casey Maggard (featured).
