  • I spent 2 full days in Gyeongju City in South Korea, the “Museum without Walls.” I took the express bus to Gyeongju from Seoul and it was 100% worth it! Lots of things to do, and the views at night are some of the prettiest I’ve seen in South Korea.

    How to get to Gyeongju: I took the bus instead of KTX from the Seoul Express Bus Terminal which stops directly downtown at the Gyeongju Intercity Bus Terminal.

    • @RoseanneDucut

      I mostly walked around the main area since the main attractions is close to each other. When I did take the bus, it was similar to the bus systems in Seoul and Busan!

    How easy is it to reach all the key sites with public transport? I'm going on a day trip and wondering whether I should go on a tour or go by myself.

    • @RoseanneDucut
      @RoseanneDucut  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The main area is quite walkable. The only area you'd need to take bus is if you're going to the Gyeongju World Amusement park or the Bulguksa temple. But all the main historic sites are walkable

    Have you hung around by car, bus, or on foot? This is my main question about how to move from one site to another! It seems that Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond (for exemp) are more or less outside the city or in a rural area. This is why I'm asking if you could answer me, please?

    • @geurtsmeister7933

      Been there a week ago. You can definitely walk everything (except the Bulguksa temple and lake) if you are there for 2 days. I would even say its a must to walk to enjoy Gyeongju the most cause there isnt that much to do besides walking around the highlights! Overal lovely and calm city to take a break from the busy cities of Seoul or Busan

    • @RoseanneDucut
      @RoseanneDucut  16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I only used the bus to get to Bomun lake and Bulguksa temple. The palace and Wolji pond aren't in a rural area, you can walk through Cheomseongdae Observatory and the flower park to get there. Def recommend seeing the Wolji Pond + Woljeonggyo Bridge at night. Enjoy!
