Tish, I really love the split screen concept here. Having the Sunday morning Tish and the Saturday night Tish there competing for the screen is really lovely. (And it looks like this was probably just a blast to film too!)
I like when people are smarter than me. I scrolled down and saw this comment, re-watched the video and it was like 10 times better. And yes I'm half embarrassed that I didn't get the symbolism.

Tish this song has been healing my teenage heart. I had so many confusing friend break ups, and I was often told that people liked me more one-on-one than in a group, and I never understood why. Thank you so much for providing the clarity and healing I didn’t know I needed ❤
I love this song so much. I feel like there can be such an emphasis on romantic love in music but girlfriends and friendships are quite literally unsung. Or if you hear friend break up songs it's usually like... Spiteful. Rarely loving and remorseful. It's refreshing and original.
Also I just had a falling out with one of my best friends for 22 years. So this song definitely made me cry. It's just a part of life, people change and grow apart. But I really resonated with the line; "she said she needed a break, I didn't realize I was taking up too much space." 💔
Even though it's written by a Gen Zer I really think it's a song people of all ages can relate to.

Wow. No idea how this song could bring tears to my eyes. Aside from your angelic voice. Reminds me of being a teen and my friend group decided to tell me I "was annoying." I remember now how absolutely crushed I was. Like rubble. I'm 45 now and tbh, I don't understand people any better. I don't know if it is my "potential autism," but the last few days, I have caught myself repeatedly saying, "People are just so WEIRD." Then I hear this song and can only imagine how weird I must seem to them. Bravo for catching feels we have regardless of our age.

It's funny...because 6 months ago my girlfriend, named Michelle, broke up with me because she needed some space to think whether she loved me enough to be with me... Michelle told me in October, that she missed me...and now Michelle and I are talking about marriage. I'm a woman too...sometimes we need some time for ourselves, nothing wrong with it. I love Michelle ❤
That's odd. I listened to the whole song and watched the video and thought this was a song about two parts of a soul in conflict...not respecting the needs of each part. The Tish self and the Michelle self. I think I went in that direction because Michelle/Tish...I had a friend Michelle we used to call Mish. Now, I m weirded out by this other interpretation that it was literally about two friends. Either way...I think your voice is from some other planet...galaxy and your ideas are beautiful. Please keep making music :)
