I love your videos. You're do honest. With sooooo many choices out there on everything, it's very welcoming to have your honest opinions of things I'm not familiar with Thanks so much.
Hi guys. We just did a National Parks tour with Amtrak Vacations. My wife and I found your videos extremely helpful in preparing for our first sleeper car trip. Thanks for the vast amount of information!!!
Hi...Loved your pronunciation of Burkshires...it is pronounced by New Englanders..."Burk sheers". Also, what do you do for transportation once you've gotten to Pittsfield. Are there stops along the way and when does the train return..only on Sunday...etc?
Does no one ever talk about on board “bump ups” for coach to business class? 20 years ago - you could do it for like $20 cash. Used to do it on weekends on the NE Corridor to/from Groton from DC after about 2 stops. The crew was always talkative because Business was usually empty. Some conductors refused to do it. Others would bump you up for $16 - officially. One time a friend commuting bi-weekly from from VT to DC (when the Vermonter was a night train) - who became known to his usual train crews - was given a free roomette because there were no sleeper passengers. His one and only trip in a sleeper…. Favorite crew story - the lady who bumped up to Business and de-trained in NYC with 20 bottles or cans of Sprite- falling from her clothes. She had hit up the attendant for free drinks from CT to the NYC outskirts.
Hi guy's, I found a different TH-camr showing how it is on the Amtrak Auto Train. He brought up was his dinner time was based on the number group on his ticket. He number group was 3 and wasn't able to eat dinner until 11pm. Question I have for both of you can you pick your dinner group to eat earlier, for that train or other train trips?
Is the Berkshire Flyer as fast as the Tokyo/Osaka train? I would buy the business class if I was dressed like Mr. Peanut with tux, top hat, monocle and cane. I say this bc I have writer's block and don't want to write "FIRST!".
Oh, animals on a train?! No way. I'm allergic and can't put up with that. If there's a separate car for that, fine. Otherwise, I'm not paying to be covered in animal hair and that smell. Good grief, leave your pets at home!

I would love a short, cheap trip like this, out of Chicago.
I’ve looked at the Pere Marquette. I haven’t done it though.Take a look and see what you think!
100k is creepin and well deserved, congrats!
Oh cool! I’ve been interested in seeing what this line is like since it’s local to be since I live right here in the Berkshires.
Looking forward to your future trips!
Hot Dog Ranch in Pittsfield has the best mac and cheese I've ever had.
Just in case you do more videos on this area, it is pronounced Berk "sheers"
So glad someone pointed that out
Oh good, I'm glad someone pointed that out.
Actually, more like berksh'rs (and for sure NOT like British barksh'r)
Came here to say that!
I was thinking the same thing while watching it. I think it’s the shires part of the name that makes people it’s pronounced that way.
Hey thank you for sharing this. Good to know this route is running. Might have to check this one out someday
What an informative, truly beneficial review! 👍🏻 Just awesome! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Essa dupla sem dúvida é uma simpatia em pessoa
Gosto de assistir seu trabalho na Amtrak

Too many ads on web site… also your map? Can it be downloaded to see it all?

Any comment on AMTRACK cancelling service North of Albany on the Adirondack?
Berk-sheers. Say it with me.
Pronounced more like "Berk shirs". I live right next to them a county over.
