Queen CynDoll, I've been listening and following your professional advice over a month, and my hair has been so healthy. I'm wearing my natural hair silk pressed now. No more twist outs or pony tail. My hair stays for 3 weeks, and I just comb it back with a silk scarf for bed, get up, and go. I only flat iron on occasions or once in a while. I get it professionally cared for. My son complains of itching. He wears twists or braids, and he sweats, but since I STOPPED putting oil on his scalp, NO MORE ITCHING for either of us! Thank you so much! 💓 🙌🏽
So what do you do when your scalp gets dry? That’s my problem. I have to wash hair every week. If not my scalp gets soo itchy and my hair sheds excessively
@marymac48 Hi, I'm not an expert, but I am a victim. First of all, Cyndoll is speaking truth and facts! I used to wash my hair weekly, which was too much, but I used excessive amounts of products, so I had to. Now, I get my hair, professionally, silk pressed every three weeks. In the meantime, only if my scalp itch, I'll put some oil on that spot and massage. Massaging helps stimulate natural oils. Also, use the same shampoo/conditioner product line until it runs out. It doesn't have to be expensive products either. Use satin pillow cases and scarf. Lastly, I due put black castor oil on my hair only once a week for shine and protection from the sun and cold, especially the ends. Be gentle, use a wide tooth comb, and only use heat on occasions. If all else fails, find a dermatologist that treats skin/hair of all ethnicities bc our hair and skin are different, one being culturally. Blessings 🙌🏽
I will be deep diving on your content and doing my own research as well. This topic interests me so much and I want to help my clients more. I will be sharing your content and will be making sure to cite you on my page! It's time we wake up.
Most dermatologists don’t even understand what oils are doing to the scalp and don’t even listen to what the patient is saying. Been my experience. The last one I went to told me to keep doing what I’ve been doing until the biopsy results came back. I thought what I’ve been doing is the reason I’m here today.
That’s because the things you do are made up. They don’t have training to treat the disorders caused by the patterns you all make up. It’s a new hack every week. There are new forms of bacteria doctors don’t know how to treat. Oils in the scalp is only a practice black women do they don’t understand. It’s made up. They said wait until the test come back because they don’t know what bacteria has colonized.
It's because y'all believe that a dirty oily head grows hair, it doesn't. It's just disgusting, stank and unhygienic. I encourage all my blacks to wash your scalp and hair more often (1x or 2x a week)
I went to a dermatologist last year, they gave me something for the itching but l stopped using it cause it wasn’t curing the problem. I stopped going to my stylist as l was going every week for the last 10 yrs but the issue started happening in recent years(2-3). Now that l have been doing my own hair using water based products and some dead sea scrub its been a lot better but I still get a lil flare up and soar bumps. Thank you for all this info new sub here and binge watching 😂.
After seein g you video, I stopped with the oils and starting shampooing the way you suggested. I'm now seeing growth and my hair feels and looks better. Thanks again!
Omg, this is so true! I had to stop oiling my scalp because my scalp was getting really bad with sores on my scalp etc. Currently on the process to healing my scalp now.
I agreeeeee. I oil my scalp almost daily when i have in a protective style and i def need to stop, i have dandruff often. My straight hair flourishes with ZERO product except oiling my scalp the day before wash day and no other product applied to my scalp….i need to do the same thing going forward…hmmm.

I've been using TGIN Shampoo for a while, not sure if that's a good one since its a "natural product" but I have not had scalp issues since I went back natural in 2019. When I was younger I use to co wash and I noticed it was horrible. I was a baby (8-12 years old) being natural and my family didnt know how to care for it since most have straighter hair textures. so I went relaxed when I was 12. It was my choice, no one in my family cared if I was natural or not. It got better than went down hill from there with my scalp and hair breaking off. At 15/16 years old glad I went back natural and have been ever since at 21 years of age. I did cut my hair back in February of this year and it's growing back and by 2026 I want it to be down my shoulders in its shrunken state. I did do wash and gos back in 2020 and it was horrible as well along with twist outs. twists in all forms mat my hair so im glad I found out it was not just me by watching this channel. I will never do twist outs again and wash and gos absolutely not. It just disgusting to sit with wet hair weighed down with water gel conditioner creams and butters. Like what are we doing. I get it the slip to detangle but that is the wrong way to go.

YES‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ So you have a scientific mind. You understand the scientific method. Look at haircare the same way it’s all connected. Healthy hair starts from the inside out and our practices have to help our body go through their natural cycles not against it. Start studying the human body and it will all connect. The human hairshaft is constructed of a protein called keratin. This fiber is constructed with 3 bonds one being the hydrogen bond that is broken by water. So with your scientific mind is your hair strongest when wet or dry? That’s just one piece of the puzzle and as you know there are so many variables that make a whole and they all have to complement each other. Find the practices that give you holistic routines that work with your bodies natural cycles. You speak my language so I know you hear me.❤️❤️❤️‼️
