    Glad you and your family enjoyed your time in Barbados! I look forward to Part 2 of your video trip of Barbados. It is nice to travel to other islands, even for a long weekend. Just hope the airfares will reduce a bit. I remember many years ago, I went from Barbados to St. Lucia for Thursday - Monday and the airfare was only $50 BBD return with Liat back then.

      Whatttt?! 50 dollars! Take me back to those days! True, it’s wonderful getting around these islands and seeing their uniqueness.

    Barbados is one of the more developed islands especially in terms of it's tourism sites and infrastructure. Their accent is very unique. Trinidad is also one of the more developed islands but it's not a touristy. But the food there is really, really good - among the best in the world.

      Yessss, their accent is indeed, unique. I agree, Trinidad is not as Touristy but very developed. It’s a shame I didn’t get the chance to eat a very Bajan meal but Barbados is really beautiful.

      Why do they still have board homes in Barbados? Barbados weather is cool, the people quiet and helpful but they need to smile. I wouldn't compare it to other islands as more developed. It has an old world charm which is unique and it's safe to take public transportation and walk around but most of the homes are still wood. The food is so so depends on the chef. It's still a stress free island.

    Its good to see you explore the other islands..
    I remember back when both Liat and Caribbean Star were using Dash8 aircrafts, airfare was like 400 EC and you would get an orchard drink and a dixee biscuit as inflight snack.. but now, i am told that all regional airlines come like low cost airlines, either buy on board or bring your own snack.. Things has really changed from when I was last in the Caribbean..

      Honestly, I miss Liat! I could tell the difference in service. No sight of Dixee biscuit or Orchard drink anywhere here😅😅. You had the good ol’ days.

    • @KeishonAban
      @KeishonAban ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bubusboulevardtv well Caribbean Star started giving orchard only, then liat decided to follow suit added the dixee biscuit.. To compete.. I think it stopped when liat and caribbean star merged under liat.. They claimed that both airlines were on the verge of bankruptcy due to the rock bottom low fares.. Imagine going from Grenada to St. Kitts for around 700 ec roundtrip.. those were the days..

      Hahaha. Well, from my video title, the emphasis is on “my trip”. I wasn’t going to do a full documentary or tour of Barbados. You can search online for more detailed videos.
