I really enjoy "what's new in my wardrobe" videos. My request would be to make videos also around items that didn't work out for you and the reasons behind it. It would be great shopping advice that your viewers definitely appreciate
Hi Josie, I completely agree regarding the low quality of American clothing accompanied by a higher price. Being an American, I attribute it to the the low standards we have tolerated and now are just seen as normal. I don't even think people factor quality in, unless you are at a really high price point. So much of what we have here is not as good of quality as other places simply because our standards are very low and it is what we are used to. I really enjoyed this video, especially how diverse all of the knitwear is, despite being similar in color. Well done!
This is why I have started shopping pretty much solely vintage. The quality is SO much higher and now I can't go back to buying the thin, polyester, poorly sewn garments that are mass produced here.

This is my favorite “what’s new in my wardrobe” of the year! I loved everything! I also really loved the way you inserted the try on clips next you. Personally, I think I prefer it that way 💗 In 2020, I think it would be awesome to do more videos on shopping psychology.

I would like to see how you organize your closet. Do you throw something away every time you buy something new or how do you make everything fit? And how often do you purge your closet and how do you think when you purge.

I completely agree with you Josie!! I live in America and after traveling all over Europe this past Summer, I think it's safe to say that clothing and other items are SO MUCH HIGHER QUALITY in Europe! I haven't been exposed to European fashion before, but wow it's less expensive and higher quality for sure!! I like ordering things from your links because they are made in the UK and also other countries as well✨💗

Ive been away 2 weeks and missed your content. Where I stayed there were lots of luxury retailers I don't have near me, As I walked around stores I got to try on so many things you have shown us, it was so much fun. I live in the US and I completely agree about the quality of clothing in the U.S. There are garments that are hundreds of dollars made out of 100% polyester. I'm always envious when you post link to items that are only available in the U.K.

I just bought one of the last two pairs of the Shashi double pearl earrings in rose gold. One pair left in this color! I agree with you regarding quality in US vs. European. It dawned on me the purchases I've made, most recently a coat, from Euro based shops have far superior quality for the cost. One of the reasons I watch you to get leads to quality shops! I agree about H&M! Some beautiful quality things if people just choose well and take good care of them just as if they were very high end. There’s so many virtue signalling messages online that put down people on limited funds who can’t afford the expensive brands that have an “ethical” vibe. The affordable products are called “fast fashion” and they’ve become a favourite target of the virtue signalling crowd.
I love love love your videos and your instagram. And what I would love to see more is life style vlogs or posts. Because you're very healthy, you workout a lot, have a great body, you're 100% an example to be more environment friendly. So please think about posting more of your workout routines, recipes and new things that help with environment that you find (like the video you did on switching to sun screen that didn't damage the corals, I loved that one). Again, love your work, lots of love from Spain and HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

I love these videos! It helps inform my purchases to see what you like/purchase/recommend! Maybe future video ideas could also include flattering colors on different skin/hair types? I absolutely adore your color scheme, I have dark brown hair and fair skin and sometimes am at a loss for what colors to choose as the more neutral shades can wash me out! Maybe I'm not picking the right neutrals? ...

Beautiful clothes as usual. I am American and not offended at all by your comment. The quality of many things in the US have gone very low in the past few years. It is sad really because the price keeps going up. I dont know why they except the low quality. Many are looking for higher quality and less fast fashion so it may change. Atleast we can hope.

You are so right about American retailers! Our quality is lower and prices are higher. When I've been in London (and I haven't packed enough) and had to run out and buy something I'm always amazed at the quality of even the simplest most basic things.
In the US we are also short on lighter neutrals. One of the many reasons I subscribe to your videos - being a blonde - my best neutrals are ivory, tan, light camel and light grey. So much easier for me to pinpoint exactly what I need by seeing online first.

I live in Canada, so unfortunately don't get all of the retailers that you do in the UK or even in the US. I do have to say that we do value quality when purchasing items and are, if budget allows, willing to pay for it.

Josie, I'd really like if you post more tips and videos of things you already have. Lately, maybe because of the Black Friday sales and Christmas, your content is mainly focused on new, what to buy, hauls, etc. I find it a little frustrating, although I enjoy every video of yours, because I simply like you. I also love when you share your knowledge on different subjects like styling, marketing, planning, blogger's life, etc (excluding sponsored content for the food machine you have, that I cannot remember the name of. 😁).
I write this with only good intentions. The truth is that I'll keep on watching you gladly, whatever content you decide to provide!

I still like the "what's new in your wardrobe" videos, although apparently I have a different opinion than others, as I actually didn't particularly care for the try-on clips on the side of the video, in my opinion it was a little much to try to focus on. I like it best when you have the try-on clips showing "full frame" as you are still talking about the item. Again, that's just my opinion, and I'm probably alone on that; not that how you did it is bad, it's just what I would prefer. Also I noticed that some of the items you didn't always mention where they were from. I don't mind clicking on the links to figure it out, especially if I like the item anyway. It's just something I've noticed in a few of your "what's new in my wardrobe videos." I still love your videos and appreciate all your hard work 🙂❤
