Those guys don't have a coach, lack of experience in tier 1 tournaments and yet they did an incredible TI.

Infamous and RNG really earned some respect all over the world. They beat some of the favourites and put up a hell of a fight this year.
RNG has players of 2017 lfy, a good mid player, and old LaNm the vet. I expected them to be good. Infamous is much more of a surprise to me as a team inspired by OG played this good.
I think Tiny would be nerf on the next patch.....

@@vaschomadafath9505 tiny is OP in this patch actually. High burst damage early game and can farm fast enough to transition into a core late game if played as support. It's a very flexible pick. It can be picked as pos 2-4 and can either go magic or physical damage lineup. Aghs is fine, just needs to nerf the cd on it. 11 secs is just fucking dirty

The balls to pick Riki mid, man.. FV needs a nerf. The only reason they won that game is because FV is unbalanced now. The bashes are far to strong for a hero that has a guaranteed through bkb AOE disable. He also has an escape/heal in 1 ability on low cooldown. Too survivable, too much dmg, too much CC in one hero. Take an aspect away.

I had nothing against Infamous coming in but was a little annoyed how the commentators went from underrating to overrating them so quickly. They still were 9-12 (7-9, 2-3) on the tournament.
Chris Luck is amazing. Flew so far under the radar. Easily the best player on their team, it's not even close. I think he deserves the vast majority of the praise that Hector gets. Hector is good at farming, but he is an extremely mediocre team-fighter, perhaps even sub-par for a carry at a tournament of this caliber. Most of the games that Infamous wins are basically won before Hector comes online, and his coming online mostly just solidifies an inevitable outcome. For example. Game 3 vs Newbee, Chris Luck's Slark had 10 kills, 11 assists, Whisper's Lesh had 10 kills 11 assists, Hector had 2 kills. Relatively short game, only 40 minutes. Game vs Keen gaming, Chris luck had 10 kills, Whisper had 6, Hector had 1. Even shorter game at 34 minutes. Game 1 vs Newbee, Hector had 9 kills 4 assists but Chris luck had 11 kills 8 assists, 25 minute game. When they lose, Hector just never comes online. He doesn't get many kills, many assists, but because he's so leveled from farming, him dying without buyback is a back-breaker. If you look back on the tournament and ask "when did he actually carry the team", you get four games, one against each of the four bottom teams in their group. Is that enough? And you could argue "he does a lot of hero damage." That's true, but that's because in the early-mid game heroes are capable of dealing less damage, and opposing heroes have less HP. But fundamentally, you don't eliminate your opponents from the field by dealing damage, or get gold for damage, you win games by getting kills.
And you might try to say "well Hector enables Chris Luck." But it's completely the other way around. Chris Luck will routinely run in and die to say Hector. The same is true of the rest of the team, very obvious 4 protect 1, under any other scheme, Hector's deficits in team fights would only be accentuated by dying more in the laning phase and falling further behind on his item timings. So I think much of the glory in this team is misplaced.
