Yes, that Was her. I saw that and she's very serious, calm, and logical. Her law persona, as she hinted, is a carefully crafted, marketed, and managed commercialized version of what you see in that TED Talk. People should definitely check that out and there absolutely should be more female attorneys like her

I've watched that special several times. And the ones that are in parts. I watched a number of reactors that have had no problems with them. They are great!
Yeah, it's cut in the middle of jokes, no captions saying what is next, no editing transitions etc.

Yes I understand the blocking, but the person could have everything the same but split the videos between jokes. I've seen several reactors who go to the next part & when tosh continues the joke mid-sentence, the reactors just either glaze over or say what the heck is he talking about. So instead of laughing, there is no reaction or they are dumbfounded. Some reactors don't do all the parts at once, some might skip a few hours or maybe a day between parts & so the mid-stream joke is now lost on them.
They seem like a perfect match, I can feel the tension. (I'm talking about Tosh and the lawyer).

I can't stand the bullshit double standard that goes on regarding divorces.
When I filed for divorce, He (and his overbearing mother), wanted everything , despite the fact that I gave him the house and left him his shit. I just took my things and left. Took the mama's boy almost a year to sign the papers. But I suppose I'm a rare case...

The worst way men get screwed is divorce court; bs alimony, property, personal belongings, mentally, and above all...custody. I just don't see how this isn't a humanitarian/hate crime against a particular sex. Kindness and complete fairness during a divorce is a rarity. I applaud you for being a decent human being. You are a rarity, man or woman.

Proud, "Amicable divorcee" here. Remarried to an old friend, ex and I still chat weekly since we have a kid together. When I went full disability she wrote to the court to waive the rest of my child support since she's financially capable now and it was a large burden on me.
I helped pay for the house she was in for a year after we split so she could finish her degree up.
You can be a good couple of people and just realize you're friends now and not lovers.

I get the feeling that she's only in the relationship as long as it suits her purposes.. maybe you can summarize it as 'to avoid being alone', but that implies an element of desperation that I don't get from her at all. It's like another comment suggested, she wants a bf/gf relationship with the benefits of a 'marriage' label on it and will happily end it and move on when she gets tired of it.

Dave talks regularly about his divorce and the raw deal he got. I didn't realize he owned anything except the skateboards he talks about. I wonder how many of them his wife got in the divorce and what brands they were? lol.

There are men's rights divorce firms advertising in most bigger American cities. And yes alot of their attorneys are women so they don't appear to be bullying the wives or ex-wives. They often call themselves "Father's Rights" lawyers to put a nice spin on it. They have phone apps for men with step by step guide on what to do. One firm in my area said "if she tells you to 'get out' and only your name is on the mortgage....don't leave...she and her lawyers can take evidence from the home and you don't want that". And if the Police tell you to go, tell them the house in your name (not hers) and by law she has no rights and must leave. Most men just leave and don't have to.
Any man who has endured a divorce immediately becomes 10x more interesting to talk to.

God I wish I could afford to hire her. My wife of 10 years just stole the kids and left with just a few hours notice. Showed up with an army of girlfriends and took everything. She waited exactly 10 years so she could get every dime out of me she could. She never paid a mortgage payment during our entire marriage and now gets half and gets to dictate how, when and for how long I get to see my kids. Marriage is for suckers, never again! I don't care how sweet they are in the beginning . 90% of the time the wife will screw you over in the end.
