I personally dont mind the time i enjoy watching. But something that would help would be a magnet. You wouldn't need to look for every markings only the ones that arent magnetic. Good video 😊
At 1956 on the timer the little white flower you hav is made from ivory ,not plastic or bone as i hav cple pairs the same .backs are either silver or gold hope you hav the other njoy. Regards best wishes from NZ mwah
@vintagesterlingfinds modern ivory is illegal but if it's vintage before the banning it is legal. Yours had yellowing to it which shows its older. But defentily be careful 🧐 lol
@vintagesterlingfinds I guess it matters what city town you are in. I had vintage ivory figurines passed down and took it to a antique dealer over 10 years ago and they bought they really fast. But maybe because they were bigger it was easier to identify age. I do understand them not buying though.
Thank you for the recap at the end! xo
Thank you
You always get lucky Charlie
Thanks big guy

The Wine stopper looks like a Carved marble Mushroom 🍄 to me, good score on the Gold 🤑

Thanks so much. The backs were 14k gold
There is COACH jewelry that can be in sterling silver. Also some costume jewelry can be worth a lot of $$.
Thank you, I have found some, but it is very rare
Another great score. What do you do with all the little bits of silver and gold you find?
I sell them for scrap. For 14k I usually get $40 per gram. Once I have $500 worth of scrap I take it in
Also you probably already sold the rose ivory earrings but if its real vintage ivory its worth a good amount of money!
Hahaha I did sell them. Have to be careful because online all platforms have it named

@@sarahblackwell7840 yes but even with it being legal. No stores will touch it. I spoke with 5 stores in my town. All of them won’t touch ivory

That sterling canoe charm is definitely not junk.
Right that is a good one
Hi,
You probably found out by now, the coin is not Chinese but 100 yen from Japan which is about $1 in exchange. Year Showa 48 = 1973.
Oh thanks so much. I didn’t know that
The mushroom isn't a wine stopper it's just carved crystal
Ok thanks
the small leather bag is a pistol case
Yes I found that out. It’s for a stub nose
This might sound like a stupid question, but do you ever keep any of the jewelry you get for yourself?
Very rarely, I do have 5-6 old watches I have kept, and 1 sterling necklace
Looks like a small pistol case. But a camera would fit. Did you ever find out if the Tiffany diamond was real?
Yes the Tiffany was really. I agree looks like for a pistol
