Rugby Canada emphasized the national programs at the expense of the grassroots. At one point they even took money from juniors to pay seniors. So they lost clubs, junior players, supporters and sponsors. The whole sordid structure collapsed. Now they keep in power the same bright lights that caused the problems in the first place. You can see the results on the pitch. Can’t even qualify for the World Cup. Not competitive in men’s 15s.

We gotta get something together. The defense was completely unable to shut down the scots. They kept getting us with swaps and the "pull" ball out the back. Either the front runner or the back scotland made the right calls and we didnt. It was looked like the first time this team played against a layered attack. Speaking of layers. We had none. Every ball off 9 or 10 was into contact. It was a 1 pass contact or 1-2 contact all night.

Scotland are a higher ranked team than Wales and a better team than England so should be further up the selection options. Not sure what Scotland takes from these games, capping a B team i guess.
Not 1 kick to unlock defence (appreciate not needed in this game) but thats something we need to practise for when we play established team

Uruguay have a solid pack and will genuinely test our physicality. Chile play expansive rugby, which will test our pace in defence. And of course, then there's the monkey on the back; beating USA after what happened in 2018. There's still a lot that can be taken from these games, although it definitely has more benefit for growing the sport in the oppositions' countries

There are no highlights in a thrashing of this sort. Canadian rugby has become an embarrassment, so far below their former levels.

Rugby Canada, quit putting money into all the perks and sport centers! If we are ever to return to respected nation status you need to divert attention and resources to youth… congratulations you made junior canada now you need to find thousands to actually be on the team. Last count 46 staff on RC… doesnt show on the pitch

Rugby Canada made a complete decision and showed your public that it isn't an accessible sport for women by playing the ID politics game to allow men to play in women's team. That doesn't just hinder the female growth of the sport it has flown on effects to the men's game too. No principles playing for a union that hates women and could care less about their welfare

This is what happens when you have no rugby culture. Canadian rugby culture is ao pathetic, This is also the team you get when You let politics take hold of your program

Unsure why you'd want to play for an rfu that allows men to play against women at club grade. Rugby Canada as an organisation is a disgrace.

Canadian Rugby is garbage, top to bottom. Its hard to blame the players for their obvious lack of rugby skills and knowledge. you just have to look at how badly the unions running this game have done. Especially Rugby Canada and The British Columbia RU. Rugby is truly dead in this country AND THE PEOPLE RUNNING IT ARE %100 RESPONSIBLE. But they have their little club and thats all that matters.
