Henry and Elizabeth of York proved that arrange royal marriages can be prosperous too. They loved and cared for each other. But it's sad how their son Henry Viii dishonoured his wives and daughters. May their souls rest in peace.

Henry VII was known to be tight with his money, but he gave his wife a spectacular funeral which was wildly expensive for those times.

Indeed. I also believe Elizabeth dying when Henry VIII greatly affected him as he was extremely close to his Mom. Had she lived, I wonder if Henry VIII would have been so tyrannical...

Elizabeth of York was amazing, really. The daughter of King Edward IV, sister to King Edward V, niece of King Richard III, wife to King Henry VII, mother to King Henry VIII and grandmother of King Edward VI, Mary I and Elizabeth I. Not a bad tally!

This is about Henry VII. The early notification squad represented as we saw the title typo of Henry VIII, but I knew History Homegirl would fix it in a jiffy.

I love hearing about some of the lesser known characters in the Tudor saga as well as other subjects. I'm starting to feel like the Tudor market might be getting over saturated. I know those get a lot of views so keep making those videos but please more of these also!

The first time I visited The Tower of London where Queen Elizabeth of York died after giving birth to her daughter. I visited the Chapel of St John located in the White Tower, where the Queen's body laid before its removal to Westminster Abbey for her funeral and a great sadness came over me when I thought of her early death and lying in the beautiful Norman Chapel, after trying to give the King another son to replace Prince Arthur. 😢
