I have a trick. A simple way to find the amount of times it goes back to its shape is to find the figures lines of symmetry. If there are 2 lines of symmetry, the times it goes back to its shape is 2
Thank youuuu so much for this video my test is tomorrow and I was absent so I couldn’t get the study review this helped me out so much ! Thank you !!!!
Yea it has an order of rotational symmetry of 1 but shapes that has 1 order of rotational symmetry does not count as a shape that has a rotational symmetry.
Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was looking for a vid to help my cause my honors geometry teacher teaches too fast and u helped me alot. Failed my test with a 64 but now I can retake it and now thanks to u, I can ace it. Again, thank you.
Haha when you put lines on the ban symbol, it looked like you were x-ing out the ban symbol. Get it? Lol PS: You are an awesome teacher! My teacher apparently isn’t very good at teaching symmetry.... could you teach us the lines of symmetry on different kinds of triangles? (Equilateral, scalene, and isoscele) c; thanks
- iiFallenRose - equilateral is all sides that are the same, to help you remember is it kinda has the word equal in it. Isosceles it means two sides are the same and one is not. To help you remember is isosceles sounds like eye at the beginning and we have 2 eyes. Scalene is all sides are different!
Thank you! I got it much better now since my teacher didn't really go in depth like you did. Thanks!
Excellent delivery, I really enjoyed the explanation of this lesson
I was tricked into watching a 23 minute video on TH-cam. That doesn't always happen.

You are such a great teacher.Taught the topics very well and I am able to understand you more than my teacher. So,THANK YOU !!!!

U r right dude
What are figure lines
No for instsmce a rectangle has 2 lines and it takes 4 times
I never watched a long TH-cam video paying attention thank you!
Your colourfull pens made our understanding easier ......THANK U MA'AM💝

Thank you! I understand this a lot better now.
Thank you ❤
Thank you. It is a great lesson.
I think the trapezium has an order of rotational symmetry of 1, not 0
Yea it has an order of rotational symmetry of 1 but shapes that has 1 order of rotational symmetry does not count as a shape that has a rotational symmetry.
Our GREAT TEACHER
What is an object (image) called that has rotational symmetry, not around the centre, but around a point off centre?
good job with the video i really enjoyed it because it helped me do my test
Clear teaching.. Thanks 🙏🙏
