- First time firing the Utas UT9 Mini. Ammo I was using was reloads ....seemed to work fine in the other guns we had out that day.
The Korean and Glock mags jammed up ...with the Utas Mag working fine.
I have to try it again with some other ammo.
We are planning to make a KES type stock along with some other adapters.

Glad I seen this review. Thank you sir
All,
I have had my UTAS 9 for almost a year. I have put maybe 1k rounds through it. I have used mags from Glock, KCI, MAGPUL, UTS, even just generic cheap $5-$10 ones i find at Vance, PSA, etc.
I have used steel and brass ammo, all types of loads and manufacturers. I have to thsi day not had 1 SINLGE and i truly mean 1 SINGLE feeding issues, double feed, etc. This thing has ran everything for me..
Definitely cap
@@CoreyGotGunz I'm serious.. I'll sell it to you
Perfect test sir
Those guns were designed to blow out the bottom of the magwell in the instance of a catastrophic, failure just like an AR. Get your hand off the mag when you are shooting.
Didn't know that... good tips thanks.
And this is how random wives tales get started. No firearm is designed to grenade itself in a certain way. Either its firing in battery or the firearm needs repair.
@@PVTPablo It's not a wives tell. It is actually how it was designed. There will always be uncertainty when it comes to explosions. But the hope is that it will blow out the magwell. But you can grip it however you want. Doesn't affect me.
No, no where in the patent, schematic or design for an AR/M-16 or any clone, dirivative, ect. is there a "designated area for catastrophic failure".
Magazines are not meant to be used as handles. The failures are caused by human error.
I have this pistol and have not had any issues so with about 600 rounds ran through it with the factory magazines and Winchester ammo
Update? Any news on why this happens… thank you
Please sir, what model Savage Range System do you use?
I have the turkish version amd it rums great with factory mags
I have this Utas 9mm and it’s garbage. I bought it during Black Friday and shot 200 rounds through it and it still jams or whatever you call it. I bought 2 of the ETS 40 round magazines and used fiocchi ammo and still garbage. Pretty pissed how they release a gun to the public that doesn’t work.
Try Glock mags and grease the insides sup good. Find ammo that runs on the warm side like S&B.
@@winnon992I tried everything after 2 shots it jams
ETS Mags work best with this firearm
Found if you cut 1 curl from bottom of spring, it fixes the jamming... But I eat purple crayons so...
trying this now
Eating purple crayons or cutting the spring?
Any eta?
Корейские подделки?
Any update on the issue?
Hope to get back out shooting soon

@@TommyJohn1 Thank you for the input brother reminded me to steer away ill go back to the drawing board between AP5-M / Stribog SP9A3s
🤔
Still better with an extar
Those don't use Glock mags, just their own, proprietary, magazines . . .
I have to get back out and shoot it with some different ammo next time

ejection was pretty weak
I have a feeling the ammo wasnt helping much - I have used those same mags before without any problems.
The recoil spring on the Utas is real stiff
mag glock 17
Not ready for prime time weapon
Did you guys like that UT9?
Nope
Looks like junk... At least with other mags...
$299 on atlantic Rn. (black fRiday)
Decided to hold out,
im sure i'll Regret it lata.
Yeah, that's why I'm here looking at reviews. Not impressed lol
@@Gun_Talk I’ve got one and have not had any issues through 400 rounds, not a whole lot of rounds but it’s something. Mine has tan ETS, the OEM mags, and a mix of oem glock and magpul mags. Grabbing the magazine while shooting on a long gun 99% of the time will cause issues
@Nicholas Burgin it's not really needed for me at the moment, I've got a 100% reliable KP9 as a PCC, doesnt matter how you hold it, by the magazine or not. I was just wondering about those things because of how low the price was. I mean, I might pick one up just to plink at the range with. Not really decided yet.

@@TommyJohn1you have replied the same thing over and over dude
Take your hand off the mag , the mag will move a little
Is that a fake Eotech?
Its the real thing
Do not waste a penny of your money on this POS. I purchased this gun earlier this year and I've had nothing but problems with it. I tried contacting the manufacturer several times but only got their machine so I left messages which have never been returned. I've emailed them and contacted them through their website but never heard anything back from them. Now their phone number is disconnected so I'm assuming they're going out of business.
