Sooo here is what I don't get the mission objective was to free captives and expose the brutal nature of the council slavery yet the mission was to a remote labor camp "known for its inhumane conditions and unforgiving environment".... if the labor camp is already commonly known for its inhumane conditions, what is the point of exposing anything?
I would suggest that a more appropriate comparison would be the pogroms the Stalinist regime applied to Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Belarus, Georgia, and the Ukraine as they were “liberated” from the Gestapo and SS oppressors, only to be charged by the Soviet authorities with collaborating with the Nazi governors‼️ Tens of thousands of innocent civilians, who merely did what was necessary to survive⁉️ But that was being complicit to the Soviet Dumas in its drive to clear the lands and refill them with “Loyal members of the Proletariat”, the veterans, workers, loyalists to the Soviet regime of Joseph Stalin‼️ These innocent civilians were dispersed to the Eastern Soviet Socialist “Republics” for periods of time that extended well beyond the lifetimes of the peasants, but into the most productive years of the young‼️ The sign that was over the German Labor Camps said, “Work means freedom!” In English, but now was applied in the true barbarity that was the perversion of Marxist philosophy into Leninist-Stalinism‼️ These displaced peoples, were worked without any form of humanity or mercy‼️ These people who were mostly agricultural workers, farmers, merchants, and many were simply citizens of cities not given a choice‼️ Ten, fifteen, and twenty years went by, a generation of people passed, a generation learned to labor without complaint, or the viciousness of the embedded KGB sycophants would silently denounce them, and they’d simply disappeared one night‼️ This was the black bleak and dangerous times under Stalin’s leadership and Beria’s Secret police‼️ So few know of these years, the oppression confused with liberation‼️ I was in Vietnam, we may have never been involved there in a Civil War⁉️ But neither could we see another nominally democratic, but tinged with autocracy government collapse under the Expansionist Soviet supported regime of North Vietnam‼️ I was off the coast in 1975 when people were fleeing death squads and jungle re-education camps‼️ The People’s Liberation Army’s soldiers had little mercy on villagers and members of the local governments‼️ The Stalinist philosophy that worked so viciously in North Korea was applied in South Vietnam‼️ But, we don’t choose to hear that, or believe it, since it was a war that we Americans wanted to forget as quickly as we could bury the veterans of the war in Vietnam‼️ I respectfully request that anyone of the opinion that it was a futile, wasteful war, go to Washington DC and visit the cold black marble wall of the Vietnam War Memorial that has over 58,300 names of sons, fathers, brothers, uncles, and yes, daughters and sisters of someone who was a patriotic American citizen‼️ I find no comparison here‼️ Peace ☮️ is our only option, because it’s a small planet and a long walk to the next habitable one‼️🙏🏼👍🏼❤️🩹☮️❤️🩹👍🏼🙏🏼‼️
This is anti USA propaganda. Just because the US has a history of oppression and interference in other nations (including support of massacre and torture, economic measures designed to increase poverty, and support of terrorism) does not give this channel the right to highlight the effective resistance to the world colonial rule that the US is now facing. Some would argue that the slaughter in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Haiti, Franco's Spain, Korea, the Philippines and many other places that the US either instigated or encouraged, would justify some level of criticism. But remember, it was all done in the name of democracy and freedom. No, criticism of the galactic council or empire is merely showing up more local events. Tut.
