  • With congressional primaries underway U.S., voters in the state of Maryland will head to the polls on May 14. VOA’s Philip Alexiou spoke to Gabriel Njinimbot, a Cameroon American, who is running to represent Maryland's 4th Congressional District.

    I'm an immigrant too, and I appreciate this. However, he should focus more on discussing his goals and policies in the US and how his background uniquely positions him to make a difference, rather than repeatedly mentioning Cameroon in a single sentence. This is just a suggestion.

      it depends ,maybe he was asked something concerning cameroon and not his policies

      @@Mbafoula I understand, but he needs to use any opportunities to sale his policies here in the US. For example the video shows him helping kids back in Cameroon. This is great, however he should have a video of him ready showing him helping kids in the US as well. Maybe I'm wrong but this is my two cents.
